Visited with my family in the early 1960’s, then again with my wife 2022! Awesome beauty!
From the USA, was here 2021. Likely the only time I will take a trip to Germany, worth every penny. To live through my children's eyes as they marveled over this building, there's no better feeling. I wish people in the USA would build grand beautiful structures and keep them. We have had beautiful buildings but they are always destroyed for something else. Its rare for any building to last more then 50years. It's very sad.
The most stunning building I've ever been in, or seen for that matter. Don't even think about climbing the spires unless you are reasonably fit.
I am always so grateful to be able to experience somewhere else from where I am sitting now thru your videos. It's always delightful. Thanks so much for this.
Extremamente Incrível como eles nessa época conseguiam construí isso tudo sem máquinas
Beautiful walk tour outside and inside of the historic cathedral. Thanks for sharing.
Beautiful cathedral love koln during Christmas time when all of the markets are around the cathedral
The one thing I love about the cathedral is the bells
I've been there in 1993 as a 13 year old school kid. Would love to go back
Returning viewer here! Thanks for the super awesome upload! Awesome!
This is a great video.
The people who built Cologne Cathedral feel that they are very great architects.
Just wow! Awesome presentation!! Big like!! 👊😎 Returning fan here!
Супер 👑 видео собора ❤❤❤😎 😍 🤩 😋 👍👍👍🤗🤗🤗❤❤❤
We don’t have anything remotely close to this in America. So just watching on my phone literally has me in awe!!’ I would probably pass out if I visited this place in real life
I visited it during my trip to Koln and it’s massive ! I was in awe before it. It truly deserves a tour.
The cathedral has an awesome pipe organ. It should be playing for the tourists.
Cologne is one of my favorite cities in Germany. Greetings from Berlin!
Feast your eyes on one of eight rows of the biggest foliated crockets of the two main spires of the Cologne Cathedral; one of the lowest ones from the southern spire @ 29:29. It sticks out about one meter or 3.28'. Also: it's 100M (328') above the ground, at the bottom of the southern spire at the top of the southern tower. Great video, thanks for posting!
Beautiful architecture.
Hi, l'm from Singapore love Holland 👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Sonne song kick in
Hi, welcome to my house! 😂
The video footage has so many screen transitions that it's dizzying and confusing to watch.
What year was this built
15. August 1248
took 600 years to finish
feel invited. words cannot describe the feeling of sublimity that this building exudes.
It began in 1248, was left unfinished in 1560, and was finally completed in 1880
This isn't a cathedral, it's a mountain with two peaks
This couldn't have been built by humans
It was it took over 600 years for a reason
@@somervillettv2272 i don't believe the narrative
