Railfanning Davis, CA! Lots of Amtrak and UP Trains!

With my return to Davis in August, I've been excited to get back out trackside. This video has quite a lot of trains in it with only being two consecutive "sessions" of railfanning. There have been a decent amount of UP trains that have been coming in the late afternoons as well which is super cool to see! Besides that, the normal Amtrak Capitol Corridor, Coast Starlight, and California Zephyr operations are in full swing. It is great to see that the old SP searchlight signals are still in operating condition and that they haven't started tearing up the Davis station quite yet. There are some great clips in this video of cool trains as well as a super cool Amtrak crew giving big smiles and waves! Enjoy!
