Just got mine installed yesterday on a 75” Black Friday special from Costco and love the lights. I did find out that the shut off feature after 5 seconds doesn’t work well when the TV is in a room that has large windows because of the glare on the TV screen the module thinks my TV is on.
@@redyoutb88 so bad thay philips have android operating system and it's really bad and slow, and sometimes netflix freez for 1-2 seconds during the movie. I wish LG oled with ambilight built in

@@markied2873 the camera is what analyzes the colors on the screen and then sends that information back to the attached unit which signals to the RGB LEDs how to display the colors. Other options would be to use a sync box, which an HDMI device, like Xbox or PlayStation plugs directly into, instead of going to the tv like normal, the sync box then has another hdmi which goes to the tv
Agree the camera is annoying having already invested in all the hue stuff I think are be sticking to hue although what’s also annoying is how expensive every hue item is!

As someone who's had the T2 backlight and currently their syncbox. Govee lights are very over saturated from the start, I also find reducing the overall brightness also makes colors match better.
Have you tried different strains or products? I have had bad anxiety attacks on certain sativa strains, but I take a small dose of an indica edible with CBD and it’s perfect. Overall relaxed vibe, with some giggles.

Because of so many hybrids and crosses over the years it’s basically impossible to be 100 pure something so even if your favorite strain is say Runtz you’ve probably smoked different “runtz” every single time you’ve smoked it. Sativas in general just tend to have a higher thc to cbd and terp ratio. Indicas are going to be more calming and hybrids are going to be more flavorful. Just my experience tho, it is different for everyone

You won't regret it. I just installed my lite 3 tonight 😊. I had regular les light strip with remote, but this light transition adds a whole new visual experience. Especially if you have a nice surround sound system.

Yeah, I had the T2 and the camera is def. not something "I forgot about 5 minutes later" lmao.. Now that I got a G3, one of these T3's would look significantly worse which is a shame because I love the end result but that camera makes it an easy pass imo.

@yervandpapazyan4473 when you buy the TV back light, there is a mode called Dream View on the Govee app that will allow you to link other Govee lights and set them according to their location in the room.

phillips hue is more accurate. there is a second of this short, where you are displaying a scence of a kids movie (wreck ralph i think) and the colors are out of place.
I don’t like how the corners there nothing there what’s the problem with having a continuous strip around the screen? I picked up cheap set leds and goes completely around the edges and covers the entire back side this is a major down fall for me. 👎👎
How high above the unit do You have the tv? I can’t put mine on the wall so it’s on a stand i wanted to get a monitor riser so I can have it the same Sort of height you have here but trying to work out how high above the unit.
I’m not sure about this one but I just got the t2 and they are changing the cameras to work on thinner panels so it doesn’t stick to the bottom anymore. If you can get the camera to work at the bottom I think you can still set it to that in the app

Its cool i opted for hue tv kit, since it doesnt require sunc box its relatively cheap if you have other hue and its bridge already.
Finally installed my T2 after a year i bought it onto the Samsung QN90C but 50imch. Still works great and looks amazing.

If its very dark then it might not look as good, mine is light grey and that still works well.
