Coldplay catches so much flack just because their music isn't for everyone, but Chris seems so genuinely wholesome and kind that it seems very unfair to judge him harshly. Live and let live, people.
I never understood "not for everyone" every musician will not appeal to everyone, but I feel that they just get flack because they have evolved so much creatively and genre wise that those fans who are stuck in the past (old school look on music) jump on the hate train.
@@natashafernandez6709 Yeah, exactly. If people could just move on, instead of stopping to insult every musician they dislike, the term "guilty pleasure" wouldn't exist, and we could just like whatever we want without feeling shame.
Coldplay is a wonderful band as it is, but when you hear about what they do for their fans and the environment as well it just makes you love them all more ❤
I was once at a Deaf club where they turned the volume up so loud that all the Deaf and Hard of Hearing party people could feel the bass come through their bodies -- that's how they roll!
Coldplay really made it on every count. They just performed in Coimbra, Portugal, for four sold out nights. I saw them many years ago. I don’t really like their most recent albums but they surely made a huge impact on music and making people come together. Music does that. Where in sports (football) there’s a lot of prejudice and even racism, from supposed fans, music has a way of immersing people and people just let go.
My wife wore one at Wembley last year. They are very cool but she said that she could feel the music without it due to the loudness so this year at Manchester she was happy to be without one. They just need to have subtitles on the back drop screens.
Really like Coldplay and Chris Martin is a fantastic guy. I’ve seen numerous interviews and he is just an all around good guy. Seems like a guy that would be friendly to all.
@@cnph7067 yeah its a shame they dont post the full thing. Quick google search says sign language is not universal, what's crazy is it seems theres over 300 types, that's a lot more then all the main languages of the world.
It makes as much sense as there being thousands of spoken languages. Languages emerge from cultures. Sign language came from various Deaf communities, not from hearing people being "saviors" and providing some sign version of Esperanto.
I heard Chris Martin on the radio like 10 years ago talking about Coldplay. didn't know who they were but he was really funny in the interview. I was like whatever they sound like who cares.
pop don't mean bad weirdo. also if you really heard all new albums, not only songs from radio, you should know that they have different musical styles in them and your comment becoming even shittier
Accessible? How about touring all of South America instead of limiting your shows to Argentina, Brazil and Chile all the time? Playing ten back-to-back shows in Buenos Aires is bollocks.
I just wish he was more of a fan of Conan's.. that he went to his studio had Sona and Matt to make the interview funnier. Would have had so much more respect for him. He just comes across as a typical name dropping celebrity.
Damn. Imagine having hearing problems and never getting a proper listen to music and the first song you hear is by an overrated band whose singer has the worst voice in musical history.

"We give them to everyone. That's the power of soft rock" HAHAH
Coldplay is a wonderful band as it is, but when you hear about what they do for their fans and the environment as well it just makes you love them all more ❤
You two have a beautiful chemistry in this video. I didn't want the interview to end.
Was at Coldplay over the weekend, on their Music of the Spheres Tour. The use of the bracelets lighting a certain points was wonderful
That's so nice of them to try and reach all of their fans.
The 'O' takes care of itself! 🤣
Coldplay actually had their late night show debut on Conan’s old late night show. I love seeing two people I love talking and having a great time.
Matin's voice is a lullaby to me.
I will never get tired of listening to him.
SAME!!
just when you think you've lost all faith in humanity, coldplay finds it & hands it back to you
It's always Conan's kindness that strikes people the most, especially the new guests. Jack Black would agree to that.
I was once at a Deaf club where they turned the volume up so loud that all the Deaf and Hard of Hearing party people could feel the bass come through their bodies -- that's how they roll!
So loud that all the non-hearing impaired suddenly became hearing impaired.

5:30 Chris is so funny
He has always shown a high amount of empathy for people which must’ve been hard for gywneth to comprehend
Boom!. Roasted! 😄
this feels like watching two ghosts talk in heaven, for the picture is shining in all that whiteness :D

5:28 best part 😅😅
💸🎶 The Power of Soft Rock 🎶💸
Chris is such a sweet soul
Really like Coldplay and Chris Martin is a fantastic guy. I’ve seen numerous interviews and he is just an all around good guy. Seems like a guy that would be friendly to all.
Love them both!
❤ Coldplay
coldplay is wonderful
That's the power of soft rock 😊
Great technology.
Chris Martin is like the scientist.
Chris Martin is certainly LIKE a scientist. In the same way that Conan is LIKE the present of the United States.
Subpac! I’ve been using one for music production since 2016. ❤❤❤
Loved it !! ❤
Wow I ❤ coldplay🥶🥶🥶🥶
Can't believe this nice man was married to the witch of Hollywood, Paltrow..
Nice to see Chris mention Dakota Johnson. Never seen that from him in an interview
He mentioned her also in a podcast in Sao Paulo brazil
@@gloriagerona1774 I just watched that now
Sounds very much like something Dakota would do to introduce something like that.
very good
Chris Martin crushing the repartee game.
I wish the full video podcast was available. I thought sign language was universal, makes no sense that it isn't.
For the same reason that the entire world doesn't all speak the same language; language develops regionally. Sign language is the same.
My thumbs up was for wanting Conan to post his whole podcasts, even a day or two later I’d pay to watch them.
I believe sign language is universal.

We gonna finish on that?
hey Conan / Sona... can you interview Lt. Joe Kenda (American Detective) ? :-)
Good for Conan as he is losing his hearing
LOL
and holy cow i knew i knew sigh languge couldnt be universal
I assume Conan was joking about the Rolls Royce...
don't you kinda have to be "hearing impaired" to be a Coldplay fan ? Lol
Don't get mad at me folks.. I'm a fan too..the joke was just.. right there 😂
I heard Chris Martin on the radio like 10 years ago talking about Coldplay. didn't know who they were but he was really funny in the interview. I was like whatever they sound like who cares.
...on a Wednesday.
conan i hope u atleast jamed a lil and maybe left a liric to be used ha in that novela u came on was great lol
I’ll say it again…Chris is a beautiful, glorious unicorn! 🦄🤩Talented, self-aware, funny and kind…oh yeah, Conan was good, too😁
He said speaking American 😂😂😂😂😂
In the context of the different sign language. American Sign Language is different from British sign language
@@jelle902 didn’t know that, thanks! learn something everyday!
I assumed _all_ of their fans were hearing impaired. 😂
What a stupid remark
@@flymetothemoon2881 relax.
- " HoS " .. ?
H*S
No, the joke was Co'B
Is he dating Dakota Johnson?
He's partner. They live together. Theres a rumor that they engaged in 2020
bad studio lighting.
It's a shame there music has been so bad for years. Was such a good band before they become just another modern pop band
pop don't mean bad weirdo. also if you really heard all new albums, not only songs from radio, you should know that they have different musical styles in them and your comment becoming even shittier
These types of initiative never work for born deaf people 😢
Why are his feet purple?!
Great interview but I can’t stop looking at Chris Martin’s feet. Concerned that he has poor circulation, peripheral vascular disease
Accessible? How about touring all of South America instead of limiting your shows to Argentina, Brazil and Chile all the time? Playing ten back-to-back shows in Buenos Aires is bollocks.
Now not even the deaf are safe.

what's up with the feet
I just noticed the same. lol. We all have different things/injuries that eventually happen to them. I love the band!
Technically, wouldn't anyone who likes Coldplay be considered Hearing-Impaired?
You have to be deaf to enjoy Coldplay so it makes sense that they're putting their money into that market.
It’s not enough that they have to annoy people WITH hearing…now they’re going after people who are impaired.
Damn. Imagine having hearing problems and never getting a proper listen to music and the first song you hear is by an overrated band whose singer has the worst voice in musical history.
Good intentions, decent people, some great songs but I can’t get past the hippy cross legged stuff.
then get over it 🤣
Wow, they just had to go and ruin the ONE good thing about being deaf.
