Exactly we don't spend unless we have to. New manager in said it all in his interview. He plans to improve the team through coaching and thinks its already good enough.

Craig its cheaper for FSG just to replace the manager for not being good enough than go out and spend on players. Even Rodgers had to fight for any player. Klopp being so good was the only reason FSG gave him even a penny.
I don't understand why some Liverpool fans back FSG so passionately. They have a history of being stingy and prioritising their pockets. Like you said , Klopp only got spending power with success / over achievement , and a lot of their stars were relatively cheap
Not sure we were actually interested in him in the first place. Considering that we only got linked with him after the Italy versus Croatia game in the Euros, not sure we were even in for him in the first place. I also I'm not a fan of getting linked to a player off a performance in a tournament. Could be a one off-thing. See Amrabat for example. Let's stick to the ones we've long been liked with like the Inacios n Hincapies.
