I have theory. Maybe Angeline's body is lifeless and soul-less thanks to Granny killing her. So the spider version of her is actually her vengeful soul's manifestation.
I'm not entirely sure if this is true since i only recently came back to this fandom but didn't she die due to the castle collapsing in slendrina X? Why would granny kill her daughter anyway?

You cannot kill the spider no matter how hard you try, her death isn't programmed in the game, you'd need to change it yourself or have someone else change so she can die , this will need coding.
