So this is a yarn over slip stitch (yoslst). I use it all the time when I creat ribbing for beanie hat. She is just doing it in the back loop of the 1st row.
Actually I don't think that is half double crochet because you don't yarn over and pull through all three loops, you just pullit through the two loops.
That is not a SC as it states. Do you know what that stitch is? How many chains do you begin with and is there a written pattern? This is a very pretty stitch but I really need a written pattern, please. Can you help?
