Beautiful country Tim! Thanks for taking us along!
Wow stunning scenery. What's life without a little risk thrown in? Makes you feel alive! Well done to you and tara for completing this challenging hike. Some memories made there for sure. Genuinely wouldn't have envisaged this kind of stunning landscape out there, thanks for enlightening us!😊👊👍
Shell and Pete
It will be in our memories forever I'm sure. Really unique hike!
looks like a tough trail; wouldn't want to hike it during the summer. Thanks for sharing the adventure,
that was an awesome challenging overnighter and it's awesome that Mike is down there.
I wish I could see Mike more but we didn't get the same days off and this Park isn't too friendly for dogs so Mike is kinda stuck. It's still nice to have him here. Hope you're well, Nicole!
Love this backcountry stuff, amazing landscape. I never felt unsafe along that border.
It's a new world to me. Mind blowing!
Wow! Beautiful but scary trail! I've had that Peak Bison meal & enjoyed it. Great video my friend. 👍👍
It was a pleasant surprise to have a good meal. I've been on a rough streak. Lol. Thanks Tom!
Great video and adventure 👍🙂
Appreciate that! It was a memorable one for sure!
Your are quite the risk taker, but I;'m glad you share these trips with everyone. Looks like the 24 Seven is a very capable day pack. And thank goodness that Bison meal was a decent one. Did you use all of your water on the trip, or did you have some left over at the end?
The bison meal is a new top 3 I'd say. Delicious. Thanks again bud! 24/7 was comfortable as hell!
I just done a trip with my 24/7 pack. I love it!!! Perfect UL pack for sure!!!
It's awesome right? Glad you got your hands on one!
Great hike brotha. Tera is cracking me up. Lol
Cool trip brother! Thanks for the video
Thanks Mark!
Dang. What a hike / experience! Great views, crazy hikes... cool gear and good company. You du-man! PS, I'll be doing the BDR on my Adventure Bike there this year! Can't wait :)
When is the BDR?
@@BackpackingwithBuckley Still planning it with my buddy, Mark. Gonna have to be very soon, or in Fall. Definitely don't want to be out there in the heat.
That looks like some rugged country. Glad you got to get out in some lower temps to enjoy it.
I had a very small window of Texas "winter" so I had to do it. Thanks bud!
Shnikeies man, that is hardcore. BE safe out there and hope to cross paths again soon.
Me too Pete! Missing my northern pals a lot lately!
wow what a unique place to hike
It ranks among the most unique in my travels. Really beautiful out there!
I'm not going to lie, I'm a little jealous of this trip it looks like a good one!!!
It was MEMORABLE, but rugged as all hell. That being said, I'd do it again!
Wow i think I'm steer clear of that trail... I'm far too clumsy lol. Hope your doing well. Tell Mike hi!
I slipped many many times in that loose stuff. Luck was on my side! Hope you're doing well, Tonya!
@BackpackingwithBuckley Doing very well, thank you! I'm glad you made it back out!
4 liters of water seems to be the perfect amount for overnights in cooler temps. The MV trail has been on my to do list for a couple years now. How many possible campsites did you see on that route? Looks like y’all camped at what I’ve heard others refer to as “split rock”
There were plenty of possible spots all along the trail with the exception of the two major ups and downs.
Looks like an epic trail in the winter…..and epically torturous in the summer
Couldn't have said it better myself Tony!
She's more worried about the tripod lol!!! Sounds like my wife!!!
Yep....that 15 dollar tripod was the main concern! Lol
Mexican Radio FTW
Yeah buddy. Deep cut this time! 😀
Great hike brotha. Tera is cracking me up. Lol. The pad looked good. I’d like to check it out. Hook me up. 😊. El Gordo’s for the win!!
I actually bought the pad man. Reach out to them though. You're kind of a big deal. It's pretty badass and only like 130 smackers. Tara did provide some comic relief on this trail for sure!
Slept like a baby hmm so you woke up every 2 hours lol
Touche Stephen....😀
