I've used a well to get drinking water from when i was a child. My friends family didnt have inside running water. She lived on a farm. Great memories growing up.
I love to watch your videos and enjoy how you bring back the simple life. I'm from up north, Massachusetts, and I love when you people talk with the southern accent.
From what I see , the Appalachian folks are working hard to open their beautiful area up to people interested in their history and the people today . Hard working , decent people . 👍🇬🇧
A wonderful and amazing collection of old items and equipment. I hope Kenny has a plan to preserve and conserve it all in future years. It's important that these historical treasures aren't lost. Great video, John. Richard in Tidewater, VA but from Southwest Virginia. Age 80.
Foreign born. Been blessed to lived and USA. But bless again lived most my years living in the country. Galloway oh. Farmer community . Machinist was my trade get to know a lot of old folks. Lots interesting people you get to know . And it’s true small communities people help each other. Not expecting nothing in return. Watching your channel bring lots of memories. Thank you John and Jodi
I have drawn water with a well bucket like that one. We had a deep well like that. Best drinking water. Eventually there was a deep well pump put in it. There was a company here called London Bucket company. I love this channel.
That's the only water my grandma had until 1992. She drew water every morning. Kept water in the kitchen in a bucket with a metal dipper for drinking. Everyone used the same dipper. Any water left in the dipper was dumped into a large bowl that was dumped out every morning. Her well was off the back porch on a gang plank and all was covered with a sheet iron roof. Home was 1 of 2 homes built prior to the civil war. The homes were mirror images of one another. The home is empty now but still standing. Arkansas
Boy he talks fast. I bet he’s always on the run. I’m thinking I my of said something or was thinking about the same last time . He needs to slow down so us slow people get to see it all
