You were on xanax for a long time. Please be patient. I know exactly how you feel. I was on it for over twenty years with a forced ct by the VA. You sound so much like me, just like me. The suicidal ideation is very scarey, i have been there. You must always remember that you are going to heal. You are healing. You have completed the taper, some symptoms have healed already; this is proof that you are going to heal. Sometimes when i feel like it's not going to happen for me, i go to benzobuddies and read success stories. It reinforces what i am going through and that i will heal. It takes time, there is no way around that; you could wake up tomorrow and it can be over or maybe it will take longer but you have accomplished so much already. As far as your sister, remember how long you were on the drug before you hit tolerance? That's where your sister is now. Focus on you, and getting through this. The one thing i read over and over again is how beaitiful life is when you are on the other side of this! Keep going, you are stronger than you know; it's going to happen.

Sunny Romano Sunny Romano -Thank you so much for your support. And yes I used to be on benzo buddies all the time. My name is Trailhead on there. But the negative stories on there is what pushed me away. But I have read success stories on there. They are helpful. Thank you. And congrats on getting off, c/t tho wow can’t imagine. It’s relief to know someone on it for a lengthy time like I was. I think I’m worried my ear symptoms are not related to withdrawal because they are just so constant and severe. I just don’t understand. I have so many symptoms that I always seem to forget to mention because of the ones that stand out every day. Thank you for your supportive and kind words.

Been off work since March this year. Barometric pressure drop sends me into bed. There is nothing linear with withdrawal symptoms, except for the ones that stick like glue.I have lost all sense of smell and sleep has been an endless battle for 9 months with huge anxiety in the mornings. hey! trailhead, thank you so much for this video!
this is amazing that you did this to help people who don't know what xanax can do. this is NOT in your head!
you have no idea how shocked i was when i heard you say that your biggest problem was your ears. i think that the ear thing is related to your withdrawal! i can't believe that you mentioned this! the doctors all acted like it wasn't related to my withdrawal. they said they never heard of it. it was like you were telling my story.i was on them 25 years, as well, and have been off for about 1 year (six more days is a year).
inside my ears burn horrible. like they are on FIRE! it has lessened in the last couple of months, and sometimes it comes and goes in intensity.
the depression sounds like what i have been going through.
i've been learning meditation, it helps.the terger meditation youtube site has been good for me to watch. it's peaceful. drinking a lot of plain water is good too.
the food thing i understand too.

She ll explain you its amazing benefits , how does it acts on the brain and the cells. And ask her to do it with you : for example when you spend 30 min barefoot lying on the ground ( grass or sand). Like that she will support you. I ve nobody to do it with me so i m tired but whith someone beside you which who you can talk or else, times goes faster. Try it . Hi - I don’t know what your name is - wish I did so I could address you. I know exactly how you feel. Do you have someone that you can talk to that is or has gone through this? Did you know that the University of Arizona had a symposium about benzos in September? It is a long youtube - three hours - at least some of the medical community is starting to come to the table.
I am 25 months off benzos - I had the sensation of a tight band around my head for about a year - it was terribly scary. Terrible pain like shocks shooting up and down my body. Inner tremor. Burning hot pain. Often I am short of breath and have heart palpitations. I didn’t sleep the first year - literally I did not sleep.
Go to Neighbor Bob on youtube - he had terrible problems with his ears. He also had bad neck pain. His videos are great!
I understand how you feel - this is a horrible horrible thing to go through.
I am thinking of you and praying for you. Many times I have wanted to give up also.

You're not alone in this. We have been injured but our bodies can heal and adapt. I always remind myself that our ancestors did not survive by luck. Generations have forged resilience and we are strong. The garbage in garbage out model is applicable... Our bodies are moving us in the right direction even if we don't understand our feel that way. This is not a rational process.
Also, our bodies love movement and it helps with ANY recovery. So you said you were walking and I think that is great. Take it slow and build up. Don't press yourself or set expectations for walking, even if you have been successful in the past. Listening to our bodies is super important as they heal. I'm still learning this but better off for knowing it. Keep up the good fight and know you're not alone.

You sweet angel please hold on keep fighting❤️ , I had the ear thing early on but it faded within 6 months.
My head/brain still feels floaty , like my brain is just floating around inside my head or there is weird air pressure in there, it’s hard to describe. 23 months out and I’m still nervous all the time, can’t sleep more than 3 hours , can’t work, can’t socialize etc.. it takes me 12 hours to sleep 3 hours ( just insane) . Can you do anything like hobbies that are tolerable , it sometimes seems to distract the symptoms? Can you do light exercise etc ? I cry all the time from watching tv and see people living LIFE and experiencing things that seem like a lifetime ago to me. Every once in a while I guess I sleep a little longer or deeper and I’ll have a day where symptoms are low and I think I’m getting better , but then I barely sleep and here we go again. Hope you feel better, think how much we will enjoy life and the little things once this shit is over for us 😎

I do try to walk everyday Atleast a mile or so with my wife. I get super nervous all the time. I’m constantly shaking inside and out. And as far as the reaction you get to tv. I stopped watching it because It has same effect on me. It’s like the person I used to be is lost. And I want it all back and can’t do anything about it. Watching others enjoy their lives and complain about what used to be a valid complaint in my life now seems ridiculous and minuscule to me. If they only had our symptoms to complain about they would never survive . So I can relate to almost all of what you have expressed. You may not of heard that before. He knows everything about the situation you are in, that has been caused by the drug and now the withdrawal. Please ask Him to reveal Himself to you. To show you He loves you and that He understands completely.. People can help you and stand with you. God alone knows everything and He will help you if you ask Him. I am not a religious freak.. I am a 68 year old woman who has been taking Clonazepam for nearly 30 years. I am also going through horrible withdrawal ( 70 days). I don’t know how I would have faced this without God. I have never mentions God in any other video I have watched on this subject. I have watched many. My heart has gone out to you sweetheart. Your symptoms are real for sure. I have watched two of your videos today.. Please spend a little time being still and asking God to give you a sign that he loves and cares for you and He will help you. He will heal you. He will use your terrible experience to help others. I can see that you want to encourage others even though you are in a pit yourself. That is the Father’s heart. What have you got to lose ?. I was on a 24 hour 2mg dose of klonopin for 3 years and got cut off cold turkey 2 months ago and I’m still incapacitated and stuck in bed in severe pain and fear. Does this get better?! I feel like I’m truly going to die or go insane. I can’t find any support. My doctor says it’s not withdrawal but it feels like intense acute withdrawal or brain damage. My ears have not stopped ringing since the day they cut me off. It is so loud it wakes me up and feels like it’s causing headaches and dizziness. The buzzing and ringing is probably the most uncomfortable symptom by far. I’ve never had ringing in my ears in my life. It feels like I have a permanent concussion. It is killing me. I could not live with this either. Hope things get better ! Thanks for video.

Bobby James - I’m sorry you are going through this. You are very early in your withdrawal. You are still in the acute phase. I was in acute for about 4 -6 months and even after that it was intensely brutal for first year. (I’m not saying yours will last that long ) My ears rang so loud I wanted to end my life right then among other reasons. Don’t listen to your dr if they are telling you it isn’t withdrawal, most have no idea about benzo withdrawal. You will get better it’s is a slow ,very slow process. Like I said 2 months is so early give it time. Your ears will calm down and eventually be at a tolerable level until they are healed. I when other ear symptoms is why mine have lasted almost 3 years so far. They are full ,crackling all the time and weather makes them so much worse. But please just have faith in the process and be patient with the healing process. You will get there..

Thank you jimmy. I’m actually doing worse then I ever have. I’m completely lost about it. I took vitamin D two months ago and idk what happened but I’ve been bed bound every since . I have horrific throat and breathing symptoms and my ears have been much worse. So I’ve seen every dr imaginable so far except maybe one left to see. I can only assume my body will still heal but the fear is definitely there. I’ve been suffering terribly. Thank you for your good words. I truly appreciate it.

You have to realize that you can’t withdraw from something that is no longer in your body, once the chemical compounds of what make up benzodiazepines are no longer in your system it becomes more of a REBUILDING PROCESS . Benzodiazepines affects EVERY SINGLE CELL in your body ! It’s gonna take a minute for your body and brain to ‘’ come back on line ‘’ i have watch all your videos and everything you say you are having coincides with symptoms and the length of time matches everyone els that I ever had talked to , so don’t worry you are on time with symptoms 👍
