Actually, moin does NOT mean „morning“, even if it sounds similar. But even many (especially southern) germans get that wrong. Moin is a low german greeting you'll mostly hear in northern Germany, afaik, related to frisian or dutch mooi: beautiful or nice. It can refer to a good/nice day or morning, evening, night, whatever time of day. There is even a Wikipedia entry: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moin?wprov=sfti1
in fact in my home region it totaly means that ... we usually well swollow parts of words so it turns "guten morgen" to something like g`moin we also have gn`dach and g`novend
The roller coaster video is interesting, because they want to use the maglev technology from F1 for future roller coasters. They work together with Europa Park (I believe you already reacted to that), and they got the new blueprint for their launched coaster Voltron, which is now their new goal to implement in the Wunderland the next years. As you said, there is always something they are planning, and this new one looks promising. It will behave and look just like the real thing. And oh, Voltron is such a cool coaster. Extremely modern, so much technology and really up there. So perhaps check out a POV sometime if you want to know what we can expect in the Wunderland in the future!
PS: I recommend "Voltron POV AmusementInsider", it also shows a little off-ride and has a good perspective that conveys the feel of the ride. I've just checked a few videos, because I know that as a reactor you can't check out videos to see which ones are good. Then go from there as you like.
the roller coaster is at moment just an idea with some prototypes to test if its possible to get it working with the developed technic from the formula one. from that idea to the finished model it can take years. but you will understand if you have seen that video. tons of videos are out that shows what happen behind the scenes. one highlight was the delivering and installing of the bridge between the two buildings. took years and alot of money to get it real. or in one video they showed what they do when everything is closed because of an incoming storm. testing ships in the flooded streets LUL. greetings.
When are you coming to Hamburg? Moin means as much as "Hello" in Hamburg. I'm (als a Hamburger) currently in Los Angeles and find it really cool that I can say "Moin" when I go shopping in the morning. Everyone always understands "Morning". 🙂
3:24 The height-adjustable model reminds me of my height-adjustable table.
Moin is a lowgerman word for hello. greetings from the northern germany.

It will probably be more reliable than anything Disney has in its parks at the moment, where all the new stuff constantly breaks down.
