    It's wild that in 2024 there are many competitors but nobody in the small light category has fully exceeded this light (outside of only output). But overall, its still the best - even with it's humble 60 watts! Bowens Mount, vmount compatible with a basic cable, comes with Sony NPF battery adapter, simple two button control, GREAT app control, easiest to read LCD, power control from 1% - 100%... all it needs is a quieter fan and a & 50% output boost and they can just quit making the D version.

    The video that links to the app demo does not apply to this light. Hooked to this light, it only shows "White" and "Effect" -- do you have a tutorial on how to change the warmth, etc. for this specific light in the app?

      @@meadowdevor Apologies! The 60d is not bi-color. That is why you are not seeing color temp settings. You will need to either use a 60x or put gels on your light to get what you're looking for.

    There is a way to power it with a usbc or a little power brick? The dc cable it's very uncorfotable and the light with that, unfortunally, it's not portable anymore. The all kit weight a lot.

    • @GrenlandUnderVann
      @GrenlandUnderVann Год назад +1

      I have not timed it, but my guestimate is that all the 60 watt lights (which consumes closer to 80 watts), will run for about 40-45 minuttes on the NP-F970 batteries.

    We own 3 of the previous model, but I was wondering: Is there any way to attach a safety cable directly on the camera body? We use our 60x often in an overhead pointed light from the back, but haven't found a way to add that extra layer of security for hanging lights. Maybe there is a way?!
