The thing that annoys me the most with Sidus Link is the ''Reconnecting'' loading bar every single time you go out of the app (even though the app is still open). At least, that's what happens with my Amaran 200x S. For instance, the Neewer app stays active (not requiring reconnection/loading) as long as the app is still open. The new Amaran app seems to fix that! One VERY disappointing thing to me is that it seems like we can not control Aputure B7c bulbs using the Amaran app. One would say that's it makes sense, since the B7c isn't part of the Amaran line of products... but it's definitely used a lot by content creators and low budget filmmakers just as much as Amaran products. Even though it's an expensive light bulb, it's still relatively affordable overall and very useful for that kind of work. I'm definitely not jumping from Sidus Link to Amaran app everytime.. I'd rather stay with Sidus Link and being able to control both products with the same app. At least until Amaran release a cheaper alternative to the B7c. For instance, a RGBWW bulb with high color rendition, but no internal battery/heat sink, that looks more like a regular bulb. Something like the Govee bulbs on Amazon, but with excellent color rendition and FX. Also, McAfee blocks the desktop app download and puts it in quarantine... Virus detected. Clearly, it's a mistake but it's strange since it hasn't happened to me for years. Anyone else had this issue?

Sweet! Thank you! I download the app and install it, but immediately it says there's an update to v1.0.1... I click install and it looks like it installs but just loops back to v1.0.0. None of my lights seem to connect either.

Finally, after 2 years of complaints. Let's try this out. 😋 Guess we could maybe even have a public API for it now so that we can have a Home assistant integration? Might be doable with this already. 🤔 PS: Okay, the mobile's app password limit went from 18 to 32, this is already a good start.

Will there be a desktop version of Diagram Master from Sidus available with it? I love that feature but find designing on my phone such a pain.

PA make fun of the corporate admin's and mock the directors every time they doing something wrong. also i have seen austin directors and other texans not pay at all ever non texans - multiple times different people, i still havernt gotten paid for college house - the movie from austin in 2010 i work for 4-5 days on, esp with recent arrivals /new people to the industry / smaller crew parts, and alot of faking like they are goignt o check or going to do something

For everyone wondering why make an Amaran app, I think the purpose is to separate their "content creator" side of business with their more professional oriented Aputure line of products.

Why would they do this instead of continuing with sidus link?

I wish Sidus Link, Sidus Link iPad, Sidus Link Pro, and Amaran Control would allow us to have a shared "Fixtures" we own, so I don't have to keep recommending them for different scenes or apps etc. I just want to tie my fixtures to my account as the owner and then just add them in each app.
