Columbia Avenue Redevelopment Project - Phase 2: Detour Update

Construction on the project is progressing well.
From April 12 to early May, northbound traffic will be detoured off Columbia Avenue to 6th Avenue from 24th to 20th Street. This is because Columbia Avenue is narrower through these blocks and maintaining two lanes of traffic next to the construction zone would compromise worker and public safety and reduce productivity. Southbound traffic will remain on Columbia Avenue. All Columbia Avenue businesses will remain open and accessible via the 6th Avenue detour. The detour ensures traffic will continue flowing and minimize delays.
