How to fix 'REJECT' error message when topping your prepaid meters

In this video, I gave a step-by-step approach to fix the REJECT message that you get from your prepaid meter when you’re trying to top up your meter. Please ensure you have linked your NIN first before doing this.
Here are the steps;
1. Ensure you have done the meter migration linking with your NIN
2. Ensure your meter is plugged into the electricity source
3. Goto the KCT token generation page for your particular disco (if you do not know the one for your disco ask your customer care. This is for Ikeja www.ikejaelectric.com/kctcheck/)
4. On the KCT generation page, enter your meter number
5. You will get two codes KCT1 and KCT2
6. Enter these codes starting with KCT1. When you are done with the first, click the ENTER button and when you get a success/OK response you enter the second one KCT2, and click ENTER to get a success/OK
7. Lastly, when you get the success/OK response you can then go ahead to load your meter with the tokens

For those insulting or complaining it is only God that will judge you. A similar issue occurred to a tenant and we told him to go and complain at the local Aedc. He was charged 3k and given this code. Was about to do d same before I just googled and found this video and my issue was resolved. I don’t blame you people. Hi Genesis, Thanks for this helpful tip. After following the process of inputting both KCT1 & KCT2, it didn't give success or reject message, my meter just kept going back to the energy balance. So I waited for a bit (about an Hour) and Tried the token and it was succesful.
