Thank you for showing some of your MTB in Singapore, very beautiful, appreciate the trail work and the respect shown by all. This is my 31st year riding mountain bikes, and you are correct about MTB culture, although we are a bit different everywhere. Greetings from Oregon USA, currently there is a cougar stalking riders at Sandy Ridge MTB area (on the hide and seek trail), last month a black bear (reports believe it to be a mother with a yearling and new cub) was reported in Portland's Forest Park (Saltzman & firelane 5 area), likely they went back north to wilder areas. Yet gov punish mountain bikers to bike from their home to trails cos mountain bike handling bar exceeds the handling bar length limit imposed by LTA. Inconsistent policy
LTA stays in office everyday and don't understand why mountain bikes need to have such wide handlebars. 60cm is too hard to control when going down trails
LTA people are not productive, small box thinking people working inside, all they know is Bromton bikes. Even our public roads you can see they can't think far and can't think out of the box. To me LTA function as Eat , Sleep and Fine Singaporean.
