Yes that was me, I was there on the Saturday filling in for a driver that couldn’t make it and unfortunately Super GT if I was actually Ayrton Senna you wouldn’t have got passed but don’t worry, you can keep calling yourself the goat down in 6th place. 😉😂
Great to see this. I used to race Club100 when they were 100cc about 17 years ago. My claim to fame as an endurance driver was nearly making an A final in my first ever sprint event at Clay Pigeon. I came 4th in the B final.
I was just watching the overtake from 10:52, in super slow-mo mode (0.25 speed).. Felt compelled to share two things. 1. The kart in front gets extremely close to the barrier. I was scared. 2.The sound of Steve telling a story about being lightheaded, reeaaally slowly, is comedy gold to me. Would recommend.
Imagine progressing through his career and still providing vids like these. He is in rather a unique position. His brand is great. The big teams should be watching how Steve is doing his PR! To progress in a career like this with a solid base of fans already is priceless. I do hope he keeps doing his own vids as time progresses he's got the formula right in my opinion. I love your kart races! It's like seeing you take what you know about the racing lines and taking it into the real world. It feels more high speed as well, and you can also commentate on your experience as normal. And of course, no rammers or dirty driving... Because you're actually in this kart, not behind a screen. 11:03 and I forgot you were also on painkillers. Damn.

I used to race in Club 100 but can't anymore so really appreciate these videos thanks. You are better at karting than you are at Gran Tourismo and that is saying something. I have gained some tips on GT Sport so thanks again.
Thanks for the videos. Don't know if you're taking suggestions, but if you have lap times you could estimate deltas to the front and back (I would say the front is more important). Even if it's not in real time, the delta at the beginning of each lap could be interesting to know... Keep up the great content!
Keep these kart vids coming I love them! Really wish I could Kart more myself but being disabled not exactly easy to find places with karts I can physically drive. I can just tricky for me. At least watching this I get my jolly's out anyways. :D

About 20 years ago I did 4 stroke enduros at Buckmore with my Dad and Brother. One night my Dad hit that inside kerb on the downhill section, got thrown to the other side of the track and he got ejected out of the kart. He landed and bounced on top of the tire barrier. Someone caught it on a camera and apparently they used the footage in driver briefings for a few years after. Dad caught a couple of broken ribs and some bad bruising but all things considered he was quite lucky.

17:20 I've come close to the 9th dimension, luckily my 4 wheels of infinite gravity kept me upright. Oh, and I'm a big fan of your driving/commentary combo, you're the man!
Endurance is sometimes more heated, and some times less heated in inline speed skating. I'm more of a Sprint skater, but two lap relays are probably my favorite because they are the best of sprints and endurance in one race.
careful with the painkillers, not sure what you take for your foot but I got hooked on oxycodone and it was hell getting off of them. awesome run mate!
