Bob, as a hormonally intersex person (in a different form), I just want to suggest that you look into the experiences of those with a similar situation to yours just because I know at least with my form (and many treatments for intersex people in general), that the treatments doctors push often make you feel worse and that there can be other alternatives, if you even need any treatments at all; its not uncommon for doctors to push treatments that are not actually proven to be necessary, but that's always a case by case basis. For my form, which is hyperandrogenism, I just had to be put on metformin for my prediabetes (and eventually avorstatin for the high cholesterol) it was causing and no hormone therapy was necessary even though I've heard countless cases of that being pushed on others and it just making things worse for them. Talking to other people with your form, there's a lot you may find out, including a way to treat the bad symptoms without physically and mentally feeling awful.

(On this video that’s 3 months old at the time of me writing this LMAO) -I once went on a road trip from upstate New York (almost Canada) to Florida and back. We went all the way there, picked up our friend, and began our trip back without stopping. Needless to say, we were really tired and we realized we couldn’t stay up any longer, we had to stop at a motel in one of the Carolina’s (I think it was South). The motel desk worker sold me the room, I drove around to my door, pulled out my key and went inside while my friends were still making their way out of the car… and there’s a black couple in the bed. The woman gets up, starts screaming like I’m there to kill them, the guy pulls a gun from out of the night stand and aimed me down. I’m a 19 year old, gay white kid. He’s like “what the fuck are you doing in here?”, without missing a beat I was like “the guy at the desk sold me a room and gave me a key,”. The man just stared at me for what felt like another 10 minutes but it was probably only 5 seconds. He said “come here,” so I did, he set the gun down and held his knuckles out, like a fist bump kinda thing. I gave him a fist bump with probably the most confused face, and he was like “now get the fuck out here.” Real cold. AND BITCH, best believe I did! My friends didn’t even make it into the room with me, so it was a solo experience. I turned on my heel, went right back out the door, told my friends what just happened (they didn’t believe me at first, but I’m assuming the look on my face and the fact that I started the car told them otherwise), I whipped it back to the front of the building where the lobby was, went in and CUSSED THIS MAN OUT LIKE I NEVER HAVE BEFORE. Stg, never talked to someone like that in my life and I don’t think I have since. Idek remember what was said specifically but my friend claims I really popped tf off on this man (and rightfully so, looking back). I demanded our money back, and we went to a different place. Traumatizing to say the least! Now I also hate hotels! Well, more like motels. The ones where you can open your door and you’re basically on the street; I don’t fuck with those ~at all~ anymore.
