    I notice that you have done two versions of this video, one in English and one in French, but the French version is 54 seconds longer, therefore it is my theory that speaking French slows down the speed of time.

    • @TheVampirePredator
      @TheVampirePredator 5 лет назад +65

      That is because French is a very low context language...perhaps the lowest context major language on Earth, which means verbosity and super succinct wording is a must to convey accurate meaning. If you look at multilingual text, the French versions will always contain at least 25% more words.

    • @geminiXXX

    Thank you for coming back! I've actually gone down from listening to ASMR to just listening to your videos! So I'm very happy that your making them again. Please continue to do so as there are plenty of people willing to listen.
    Quick request. I'm sure you have many topics coming up and a whole host of things to talk about. What would be wonderful is is you could find the time to make a video or two with some talk on language? More specifically the history of language.
    I know it's not an easy one and could take some time, but to have a brief introduction into something as fascinating as the history of the Arabic language, or the history of Mandarin, would be most interesting.
    Thank you once again and good luck with your future videos!

    This is the one thing I liked about the Ender's Game series was that it employed the "hard sci-fi" of Relativity in that FTL travel is that for the traveller and you get to where you want to go quickly, but time still flows the same for those not travelling at that speed. So if you travel one light year in a few hours or days, one year has still passed on Earth.
