- A level 3 Anubis can activate up to 4 of ANY friendly faint abilities on start of battle... what could go wrong?

📌 About this Video
The new Super Auto Pets pack is here with the arrival of the new Unicorn Pack! This update brings a ton of new changes, the largest being the addition of 84 new pets and some new food / equipment and ailments, alongside the new mechanic, mana! As well as a new night varient for every background that alternates every turn, a nerf to the wolf bringing an end to it's overpowered infinite gold strategy. In this video I tried out the new tier 4 Anubis, which triggers every faint pet on your team at the start of battle forward to back (up to tier 2 at level 1, tier 4 at level 2, and tier 6 at level 3). First I decided to try an interesting Super Auto Pets strategy with a custom pack by running Anubis with a load of mushroom Hedgehogs and a flea! After that, I tried out another strong strategy of a combo with a level 3 Anubis and several level 3 nyala and level 3 nurse sharks!

I feel like a pet like anubis has been theory crafted for sap for ages, so hyped they've finally added it
It's definitely one of the most interesting new additions!
Effectively turning faint abilities into start of battle ones is wild 😆
Once upon a time we had pteranodon
I bounce back and forth between whether anubis is too strong or if the pets it activates are too strong. Like the first build in this video was fun but not that strong, while the second build was utter annihilation and it wasn't even fully up and running yet. An anubis team with level 3 nyala + triple level 3 nurse shark (all with mushroom) deals multiple waves of 18 damage snipes totaling to 486 damage and still leaving 18 trumpets, extremely busted
I think it's a little of both, maybe it's just one of those things where both parts are pretty balanced until they are specifically put together
That said, essentially being able to consistently get 4 ability triggers out of one pet is _very_ strong, so I definitely imagine anubis will be getting toned down lmao
i feel like just making it random instead of front to back would be enough of a nerf. You could argue that this ruins the fun of the pet, but it will certainly help with the power issue
I don't know how I feel about rating a pet based on custom games where literally every single xp raising mechanic is brought all the time. There are a lot of nutty things if you hit them to level 3 quickly. Anubis is one of them, but you quite literally can't run the Nyala build even at lower efficiency without Anubis 3.
If you run it with 4 faint pets Anubis is 4 abilities in one pet, and you don't need to scale it, so I'd say it's a bit too strong

Axehandle should be changed to “Deal 1/2/3 damage for every duplicate enemy pet”

I never understood how trumpets work, seen you for months as I just never get it. Can someone explain?
I don’t fully understand either but I’m pretty sure certain pets or perks give trumpets and then certain pets use up trumpets but if you still have some trumpets when there is only one other pet on your team alive, it spawns a dog with health and attack equal to the amount of trumpets

I think anubis is a jackal, but that's basically a dog so I guess yeah
@@KeenoePlays Have you added Questing Beast to dogs only? It's not a dog but it's necessary to get Good Dog.
