How could it be that not 400 people (at the moment) wanted to see this? This is so interesting to me although I'm in a completely different area of music. Thanks Steve and Michael for sharing!
I know. I don’t seem to be able to trick the algorithm to get it out there. But I’ve heard that the channel needs to be going for a couple of years before it takes off - thx for the compliment!
@@popthehistorymakers You're welcome. I'm only a few years too young to share your experiences- I love eighties and nineties club music. And I'm also a fan of all that gear Michael and Luca must have piled up. Keep up the good work, Steve! :)
Amazing interview - I really enjoyed listening to it. Thank you so much for doing it Steve, and for forwarding me the link. For me, Snap always represented this kind of meticulously produced music, similar to Enigma (I wonder if they ever knew each other, hoping between Germany and Ibiza!). I also wonder have you ever put the feelers out for an interview with Michael Cretu?
Michael Cretu is a great idea. I’m always so busy and basically trying to catch up that I must use these days to make a wish list. There are just so many acts to interview but hoping, and my goal is, to provide an archive of pop music of that era. Thx for watching and commenting ❤
Love the archive idea! So glad I stumbled across your channel, I remember being a 13 year old kid and rushing home after school to watch MTV News at 4pm followed by 3-from-1! Have a great xmas and new year @@popthehistorymakers
Most likely they do know each other: "In the basement Cretu established a restaurant with an excellent cuisine. There he likes to invite the local prominent music persons. Stefan Zauner and Aaron Strobel of the "Muenchner Freiheit", Frank Farian and Snap-producer Michael Muenzing, all inhabitants of Ibiza by choice"
Thanks for the compliment. When I first moved to Germany I found out that some people used to call me Valium man due to my calm demeanour on MTV- if only they knew …But truth is Michael’s a great interview partner!
I worked on the "Save The Vinyl" complications mixes back in 1993. This was with his brother, Jochen Münzing. Michael Münzing then sold Locic Records and the project was scraped.
Steve Blame...Parabéns por conseguir essa excelente entrevista com o Mestre Munzing. É daquelas entrevistas para guardar em um cofre! Anzilotti & Munzing são os maiores revolucionários da Dance Music Mundial! Saudações do Brasil!
What's the story behind a famous Russian phrase "Американская фирма Транссептор Текнолоджи приступила к производству компьютеров "Персональный спутник""? How did you come up with the idea inserting it into the song/music video "Power" and where did you get the phrase from? I mean that was genious and so creative! :)
The American company transceptor technology has begun the manufacture of personal satellite computers is the translation- unfortunately I’ve never asked Michael that question!
@@popthehistorymakers Yeah. But I couldn't find answers to my questions in any of their interviews, be it from the band or from the producers. It would be interesting to know the story behind that segment in the musical video
@@popthehistorymakers I think it's just an ironically intro about the game power of two forces, USA and Russia, so that's why they chose the news about America to be presented by the rivals...it makes sense...Anyway, The Power was my favorite track!

You can see how a pro interviewer works, fantastic, great channel. The calm manner is so pleasant.

Very much thank you, Michael! I’ve learned to songwriting/recording/mixing on music like SNAP and 16bit, as well as Enigma, KLF and similar.
Danke aus Frankfurt!
