The whole credits thing and time limits is going to prevent the industry from really taking off in terms of full-feature films. However, if these tools were baked into a software run natively on your computer, where you can reference 3D models of consistent characters and place them into consistent scenes, where the AI takes care of the shots, and you can make adjustments accordingly, it would allow entry points for armature film-makers to create entire films with only good hardware.
It would be useful to know (in all your videos, but including this one!) exactly what a credit gives you, and what a watermark looks like. i.e.: does 1080p use more credits, how many credits are used up when getting four variations (and are they only used up if downloaded), does making an adjustment use up another credit? (Some tools allow free tweaking). As for watermarks, are they easy to cut out by cropping (eg Hailuo) or do they fill the whole screen (eg invideo).
Googles AI That just dropped has better interactions between characters plus it has special effects like you see in video games and the characters interact with each other more coherently and you can even have fight scenes
Vidu is really creative, often even overdoing it, but with good prompts you can get great results, however there is one problem, which they should solve. When used later in a video editor, and you slow it down to look like slow motion, even with a paid video editor, what happens is that the videos created with VIDU crash at reduced speed. They stop and move forward when you slow down the video in an editor, and that's horrible. Slow motion, the smoother it is, the more beautiful it looks, and with VIDU you can't get that effect in a video editor. But I really like VIDU, despite everything it's very creative and original in its creations.

I disagree. I don't know what magical prompts yall are using the get your desired outcome. I genersted 3 videos with the free plan and they all were horrible. They were blurry and unclear. It was image to video not even text to video. I tried the text to video as well for 4 sec and got the same result. SMH🤦♂️
The limitations of ai for anything narrative are that you will get a very different result even when you keep the prompts exactly the same. It means you cannot get consistency with any element from shot to shot, let alone a scene. That is why it is completely useless for filmmaking still. It's why you only ever see amazing looking single shots in videos like this(or any other). The person that made them couldn't even remake that image let alone get continuity across any number of images. It's a long way off from making anything resembling character based narrative sadly.
It will end up like this in 5 years: we will have a PC with an RTX 7090 with Nvidia Conversational AI and some subscription from a GAFAM company who will aquire the most successfull AI models alive on the market, an nvidia AI assistant into the car, asking: create a playlist of our own virtual actors. At home, vocaly asking: Nvidia creates an adventure film for me with my favorite artists nr 28, 39, 17 and surprises me, based on the films that you generated to me 2 days ago and the one from 11 days ago... And it will also be like that in the video game industry several years after. Because test are actualy done with AI prompt to videos games. We already have metahuman audio to facial animations, video to skeletal mesh animations driven by AI only, and the Nvidia Conversational AI is a node to reach every AI models on the market, one step after we will generate movies inside Unreal Engine at 60 FPS driven by Conversational AI only by voice, a post process filter driven by AI nearly at runtime to add photo realism, cartoon or something else on top of the existing metahumans, scene and mesh, is already here, then the whole picture is done... 1 GPU, 60FPS, AI movies in a more efficient way than the actual models who consume so much power, and have alot less control than a cine camera inside unreal engine.
