I’m learning to not take on the invitation to arguments because over the years I’ve been in Christ - I’ve been learning that the devil can use those things to distract us from what’s really important: Seeking God’s Righteousness daily and living as we are called.
It can be tempting to want to disprove something that you believe is true, but it gets dangerous when we cross into that mindset where we feel like everything is wrong and we have to correct all of it.
Truly, it is self-righteousness
Well depending on how their talking to you, the Bible says in 1 Peter 3:15 "Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect."
Get back to winning souls, that's what Jesus needs/ wants,

Persecution causes the true church to pray and seek His face. Persecution is a vital part of every christians life. Without persecution we can fall into state of slumber. God is faithful, He will bring us through whatever is coming. It is coming if you are truly serving and seeking Christ. Thank You David. You always make me think and examine myself.

I am suffering from persecution from people who I thought were friends, although it's not that intense. But I guess it's a blessing in it's own right cause not only am I becoming more like Christ, but it's revealing to me who my true friends are❤

Yes there has been much division among the brethren. My baptist co-worker found out I believe in tongues and he looked at me horrified like I needed an excorcism! It put a wedge between us, I'm letting God deal with this. At I know he is saved!

Amen Brother Hernández! Jesus said, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” John 13:34-35 …Our love for one another is not an option!
Not long before he went to the cross….just after he washed the disciples feet, our unity was heavy on the Lord’s heart (which he prays intensly about in chapter. 17). This matter is so important that the Lord gave us a New Command and said we MUST love one another. It is the act of selflessly loving our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ that shows the world we belong to Him. Flip that around - when we become petty and begin to pick each other apart, we become an effective tool for the enemy. May the Lord have mercy on us and give us a heart of love and unity for one another!

I agree with everything that is being spoken of here. Yes, it's important to win souls. The scriptures teach that winning souls is wise. It's the great commission! That should always be our focus and intent.
However, I disagree about understanding His return and the timing. To say that p. a. n. theology is acceptable or believing in a pre or mid or even post is not important because we should be focused on winning souls, is saying that the warning that Jesus gave in Matthew 24:4 about taking heed, would then be irrelevant. Why would we need to know or be told by Jesus if it was not important! Hosea 4:6 says my people are destroyed for a lack of knowledge. His people, not the world.
Paul also tells believers in 2 Thessalonians 2 about understanding His return and that it will not precede the falling away and the revealing of the Son of perdition. It is very important to know the times and seasons. You can't fall away from something you never had. Another aspect of the verse is saying there is coming a falling away from the faith. Believers will fall away, they will willingly give up, turn away, walk away from Jesus.
They are not being taught to stand in faith when hardness comes, when persecution comes, when darkness begins to bring war on the saints. People are being taught that they will be out of here before anything bad happens, or God wouldn't let His church go through tribulations. Many believers WILL take the mark of the beast and fall away! Some preachers are teaching you can take the mark and still be saved. Heresy in it's worst sense.
The scriptures tell us to study to show thy self approved. Proverbs 15: 28 says the righteous studieth to answer. We must understand His word and the warnings that are given and not just the blessings!
We must also understand His voice and to discern what is of Him, Jesus, and the enemy of our soul.
Knowledge of truth is the primary safeguard against deception. The elect must know, and they must learn to test and prove the spirits until they do know what is of God and what is of Satan. The words of the Master, Take heed, I have told you, plainly imply that personal knowledge of danger is part of the Lord's way of guarding His own. Those who blindly rely upon the keeping power of God without seeking to understand how to escape deception, when forewarned to take heed by the Lord, will surely find themselves entrapped by the subtle foe.
It's so important to get revelation from the scriptures and not man, or the traditions of man!
There is only 1 Second coming of Jesus Christ!
Jesus only teaches 2 resurrections!
One resurrection of the righteous and 1 resurrection of the unrighteous.
John 5:28-29
Blessed is he who takes place in the 1st resurrection!
If there is only 1 resurrection of the righteous when does it have to take place for ALL the saints to be included?
It can't be before the tribulation, (pre-trib)
It has to be at the end for ALL the saints to receive a new glorified body. (1 Corinthians 15.
Please seek the Lord in His Holy Word and His Spirit shall lead into all truth. 1 John 2:27! He has called us to be warriors for His Kingdom! Called out ones to shine bright in the coming darkness! Rise of the Saints! Latter rain is coming!!! His body will rise up!!
As far as O. S. A. S. - He who endures to the end shall be saved. 2 Peter 2: 20-22!!!
