    Good to see you guys back after your Olympic hiatus :) You did a fine job showing off this game & as usual provided useful tips at the end. It's a great two player game we like very much!

      Thanks Andrew! I'm still busy with the Paralympics so scrambling to try to get videos back on schedule, but hopefully can release on time! Things will definitely be back to normal in September. Looking forward to getting back playing games after all this, though I have to say the Olympics were a great experience!

    Another favourite of mine. Great video and congrats to Glai on the win.

      Thanks again Eric. Patchwork is very popular and it is a good filler to fit in between bigger games or if you just have a short amount of time and want a quick game of something!

    Thank you for the walk-through. I saw Jamie Staigmeir's top 10 Roundel games and he mentioned Patchwork as a good gateway game. I have some friends who like Monopoly and may bring them into modern games with this! Not too hard but fun! I'll mention you over there as well!

      Hi Ken! It's great to hear from you. I wish you a very Happy Easter.
      Patchwork is very popular and very easy to learn so might be good for getting your Monopoly-playing friends into other games too. We'd really appreciate the mention. Thank you very much for that! Hope all is well with you.

    Thanks for this playthrough; I've had my eye on this title ever since it popped up on BGA. Seems like a decent filler game. Uwe scores again!

      Hi Geoff. Uwe doesn't do much wrong, does he! Patchwork is very short and easy to set up so it is a decent enough filler. We will have a few more Uwe games coming up soon! I'm a big fan of his work.

      Hi Hazel! It’s great to hear from you! I didn’t know there was a Halloween reskin on the cards. I’m sure it will look great.

      @@AllAboardBoardgames Been great! Just looking forward to playing some of our new board games. Hope you two are doing well! Always love your videos. :) You are the reason I am now obsessed with Clank!

      We’re doing great thank you. It’s lovely to hear that you enjoy our videos. Good to hear too that you are are loving Clank. Be careful because we made a couple of rules errors there - we forgot the starting Clank and also when using a device I put it in my discard pile but it should have gone in the dungeon card discard pile.
      You are from the Philippines, right Hazel? Which part are you from?

    • @wilbabilba
      @wilbabilba 3 года назад +1

      @@AllAboardBoardgames Yes, we make sure to add the starting Clank! and use the device right after purchase (and then get rid of it). I am, indeed! I am from Marikina City in Metro Manila but I currently live in Arizona. I guess you can say I really like hot weather! Lol where in the Ph is Glai from? I didn't know you guys live in Japan, that's awesome! I hope to visit there someday.

      @@wilbabilba Oh, I have been to Manila a number of times but never to Marikina City. Glai tells me it is famous for making shoes!
      Haha - wow, you must really like hot weather! I know Manila is hot, and I guess Arizona must be pretty crazy hot too! :) Glai is from Batanes, and I am from Ireland, but we both live in Tokyo. It gets quite hot here during the summer too so you must like it! LOL It is a very cool place. I hope you get a chance to visit some day!

    Great video with Patchwork. I look forward to seeing your next video.
    And to ask too, will there be a Pandemic Legacy video this month, or will it be skipped this month and resume next month, since you're busy with the Paralympics?

    • @AllAboardBoardgames
      @AllAboardBoardgames  3 года назад

      Thanks for your support as always Daniel.
      There is a Pandemic Legacy video which I am still working on editing. I am doing my best to get it out on time but I still have a lot to do and I am still working on the Paralympics so we'll see how it goes.

      @@AllAboardBoardgames Thanks for the reply. Jus to ask, what are you doing for the Paralympics: interviews of athletes, filming some of the sports, etc.? I thought I ask, since it's not everyday that you get to visit the Olympics while doing it for your country's news.

    • @AllAboardBoardgames

      @@danielschaublin No problem Daniel. I am the local fixer/coordinator for Irish television and radio, so it is my job to bridge the cultural gap. I help out with interpreting between Japanese and English, and I explain cultural faux pas, organise the logistics of getting between venues and the International Broadcasting Centre, implement Covid protocol and a lot of other things, so very busy as you can imagine!

      @@AllAboardBoardgames In summary, you work for Irish news as your main job, and you get paid to learn about Japan thanks to your job? If so, it's excellent to hear that you can work while learning about another country at the same time. I would I could travel and learn about a country for a living myself.
