You will find an image of the original receipt at the end of the video ☺Thank you for watching! Below I've translated this historic recipe into modern directions for all to enjoy. If you make this you'll never look at store bought ice cream the same. Chocolate Ice Cream, 1830 8 oz. of semi-sweet chocolate, melted 4 egg yolks 2 cups of cream 3/4 cup sugar Ice Salt Melt your chocolate in a pot on low heat then set aside for a few minutes to cool so that it is only lukewarm. In another bowl whisk together your egg yolks with the cream and sugar. Once thoroughly mixed pour in your cooled chocolate. Whisk together till combined then return to your heat. Ensure that your heat is low and whisk constantly until the chocolate has fully incorporated. You can tell that this has happened because the mixture will turn a rich brown color. Please be careful to not have the heat too high or the egg yolks may solidify. Remove from your heat and pour into a sabotiere surrounded by ice and salt. Churn until it becomes ice cream. If you don't own a sabotiere it is perfectly fine to place the ice cream in a Tupperware container, or a metal sealed container then to put it in the freezer. If you are doing this be sure to give it a good mix at least once every half hour until frozen. This can take anywhere from 2-4 hours.

Love this video. It was funny!. Ron’s letter started it all. The preparation was painstaking but the result was rewarding. It looks great. Thank you for the recipe, Justine.
Well done, Justine, you're doing the right thing by pausing while churning your ice cream mass. I didn’t do it myself, but I read that you don’t need to constantly churn, the pauses, on the contrary, are useful. The fact is, that crystallization will go faster, when the supercooled mass mixes with the mass in the center of its column. Due to the sharp temperature difference between the outer and inner layers. This happens according to chaos theory or the domino effect. If you constantly interfere, then there will be no sharp temperature difference, the whole mass will cool equally and slowly, during the day, freeze.
I knew this one was going to be great.. you had me laughing loud at this video ❤ thank you! BTW: that ice cream looks scrumptious 😋 Thanks for sharing! ❤🇺🇲❤️

The universe
science says
was not always there it had a beginning point
the big bang
meaning it was begun initiated in other words created,
thus there should be a creator,
there must be a God,
we don"t see God and we don"t know the essence of God thats a different story,
But we see how things in the universe obey rules and we see some wisdom in things indicating he is knowledgeable and wise, and we see different things many verity of things and creatures
and that indicates the capability of God,
and we also see that all things are made of almost the same thing
for example everything is made-up of particles
and energy and space or vacuum,
meaning they share a similarity some how indicating unity
Which proves that the creator of all things is one
One God for all of us
And God is the creator of space and time and time and space came together they were created together
Meaning that God is not found within the
space time dimension
And is greater than to be contained within space and time frame and borders, also whatever was proven to exist-the universe proves the existence of God-
but was not proven by scientific facts and evidence-¬ by
logic alone-to not have had a beginning point it means that
there is a possibility that
That thing may have existed all the time and was not begun or created and thus has no creator,, the universe proves the existence of God but God not proven by
scientific evidence
& not logic alone
that he had a beginning point, so God may have existed all the time, yes God existed all the time
if God proven to exist but had no beginning point also that means
he has no creator.
God initiated everything and he repeats things too, and thats clear we see many cycles of things, water cycle,
animal and plants
food chain cycle,

7:37-OMG! That look on her face as she's pounding that block of ice 😱
ikr
Scary
Like she’s doing smth sus 💀
@@DeesuGhanghas disposing of a corpse.
I’m scared
Omg last years was so funny but this year is even better. Justine you mastered this one. The ice cream looked sooo good! 🍫🍦 Ron you got a keeper here. You two are actually the cutest couple ever.
At the beginning, wasn't sure if she was going for a pot or the rifle 😂😂😂
this was awesome love seeing how things wirer prepared using techniques/Equpment from the 19th century keep it up
I remember at a church picnic we used to make hand churned icecream with an exterior hand crank. We'd have two churns, and it was adults versus kids for who could churn it faster. It was fun. This looks even more tiring than doing it with a hand crank on the side.
That was excellent. You both are hysterical.
Oh my...I felt your pain. Growing up, we had to churn the ice cream at my grandmother's. We were just lucky to have LOTS of cousins. 😂
))) Надо попробовать сделать домашнее мороженое, рецепт простой, а главное-- в наше время ведь есть морозилки!!)))
I remember i watched this on my schools Chromebook while on lunch detention
Let's just face it. The black 🐈⬛ cat is the star of the show. 11:10
All we needed is the "Eye of the Tiger" song in the background. 😂 I LOVE the Keikogi or Kimono that you're wearing. Beautiful garments.😊❤ 🙏 Now off to the second channel I go. 🤸🏾♀️
This was hilarious. The training took me out; you guys are amazingly awesome. I cannot wait to see what you come up with next.
LOL even your cat was like "what the hell are you doing? why are you putting yourself through this momma?" while he watched you put away each and every log😂
❤very nice video you guys!!! Thank you soo much!!!
This was so much fun & interesting to watch!! 👍 Love y’all’s channel! ❤️
The face you made reading and reacting to the letter that and hitting the ice with the hammer just priceless. This video was way to funny.
That look on her face as she's pounding that block of ice 😀
This one is great too!
You two are gems!❤️
😂 that got me.
Nice video thanks for sharing with us,..
Your vdos bring smile to my face. So simple yet refreshing and every thing seems so easy even without modern day instruments and devices
WOW so much ice cream churning and other chores too😃
It looks delicious and the scene with the two of you sitting together and Justine feeding Ron his chocolate ice cream is just adorable 🥰 💕💕
Growing up we made ice cream this same way for family gathering though the handle was a little longer. It was the men’s job to turn the handle until it was done. There has never been ice cream that tastes as good as that homemade ice cream
Loved this video! The "psycho" eyes, while hitting the ice, was perfection :)
This is one of my favorite episodes!! Justine is hilarious!! 😂😂😂 Also a little scary. LMAO!!
Very cool. Thanks for posting.
🤣🤣🤣 He's giving you the gift of you making ice cream. 😆😆😆
I love how she dropped the letter aside like 'yeah, whatever'.
As soon as I saw the title, I thought to myself "Justine is going to lose her mind!! I am so glad this was not as taxing on you as before, but it still really sucked!!!! Great job!! Thanks for all this hard work.
I was like nah, there’s NO WAY she’s back at it with the ice cream. I strive to embody your determination!!!
The maniacal look on your face as you smashed Ron's face.....I mean the ice was great!🤣.
I lloved the comedy! We used to make icecream like this with a turn handle sorbierte, Great Video!
I’d love to hear how the rainstorms sound in your cabin! I bet it’s wonderful!❤
Watching these videos makes me feel very calm and relaxed. I love them!
Love this video. It was funny!. Ron’s letter started it all. The preparation was painstaking but the result was rewarding. It looks great. Thank you for the recipe, Justine.
Watching these videos makes me feel very calm and relaxed.
I just found this and holy hell it's so refreshing
Well done, Justine, you're doing the right thing by pausing while churning your ice cream mass. I didn’t do it myself, but I read that you don’t need to constantly churn, the pauses, on the contrary, are useful. The fact is, that crystallization will go faster, when the supercooled mass mixes with the mass in the center of its column. Due to the sharp temperature difference between the outer and inner layers. This happens according to chaos theory or the domino effect. If you constantly interfere, then there will be no sharp temperature difference, the whole mass will cool equally and slowly, during the day, freeze.
Oh my goodness! You look like you were having fun smashing that ice. 😂
I normally never buy chocolate ice cream but this brings it to a whole new level. Yum!!🤤🤤🍫
Nice video keep it up thanks for sharing with us
YUM! Justine that is a great recipe! GOTTA try this out.
People of the modern era: Ah yes the simpler times back then, wish we could go back to that time.
Justine: 😤
You having that PTSD Flashback of your first Ice cream making video cracks me up! XD
I knew this one was going to be great.. you had me laughing loud at this video ❤ thank you! BTW: that ice cream looks scrumptious 😋
Thanks for sharing! ❤🇺🇲❤️
6:55 the cat meowing in the background 😊😂

I love your videos! I just started. I hope theres more!
11:46 funny and cute shot 😂❤
7:29 Justine imagining the ice are those of us who suggest this "punishment" to her for loosing the egg painting contest 😂.
I absolutely love the ice cream making videos. This really made my day. Thank you❤
Thank you for this great video. After watching the whole video, I am now convinced that I should just buy an Ice Cream.
This combo is just priceless!!!🥰🥰❤️💞
On your way to million subs
7:38 I loved Justine'face 😂🤣
horrible like insidious
She looks like a pyscho
Not gonna lie, she looked like a serial killer the way she was beating that ice. Lol. But I enjoyed every minute of this video. Now I know why my ice cream always tasted like frozen whipped cream -- I didn't use any egg yokes. 😂
Wow Back in 1830 they used to have great cameras to film
I want to see inside that ice house and see the stone work. It looks awesome!
Her reaction was priceless.
For whatever reason my brain didn’t register the geese honking noises and I thought you were grabbing the rifle to go erase Ron for making you do this all over again. 😂 I love this channel.
You know in the Bible where there’s much weeping and gnashing of teeth, that’s Justine when Ron wants ice cream 😂
I just noticed your cabin is made from cedar logs, which should last several generations!
That the training for making ice cream? 😂
Wonderful content!!!
I love your videos so much! This one was utterly delightful , Mish mish following Ron through the forest, training for ice cream making….. so entertaining 😊. Historians can sometimes be quite severe and snooty, but you guys are educating with humour and just being yourselves and enjoying it ❤
