We can read it in the first row of the window: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.....] MS DOS have no window, running in full screen text mode and not in graphic mode. MS DOS have no desktop, no USER folder and no Windows folder. The Windows command prompt is not MS DOS. Windows is running in 32 bit or 64 bit Protected Mode of the CPU, but MS DOS is running in the 16 bit Real Address Mode of the CPU. This is the most significant difference between MS DOS and Windows. In DOS the user is the big boss of the system to do what ever the user want to do without to get a message of a protection violation. But in Windows the system kernel is the big boss.

@@AbhiComputers The black side shows the Windows command prompt. If we use the Windows VER command we can see it is not MS DOS. The Windows command prompt is inside the CMD.EXE and CMD is a Windows executable made to run in Windows only, but CMD is not made to run in MS DOS and not a part of MS DOS.

@@AbhiComputers I am a hobby assembler programmer and i know exactly about the difference between the Protected Mode of Windows and the Real Address Mode of MS DOS. You can learn it from the Intel developer manuals of the x86 CPU family.
