My God, you have big balls!!! Is that a 250CC kart? Man, looks fast from your camera. 90 mph? or faster, like 120mph? you are a great driver with no sense of danger!!!
Looks more like 200kph in the longer straightaways, that would be up near 125mph from what I'm seeing, very fast!!! Knowing the TM,KTM, Husqvarna, and Gas Gas 125 engines as I do, completely doable...with more room in 6th gear I'm guessing 132mph would be achievable...cajones grandes Senor!!
A shifter Kart is anything but a car. Also, there are plenty of off road rally AX racing "I think that's what they call it", that use a paddle shifter. FYI the racing heats were they use a navigator.
in karts you rarely use brakes, except for really tight hairpins, because its just so damm light, so when you take your feet off the gas the car just starts slowing down very quickly

It's all about reaction time. I think back in the 90's and on some older Shifter Karts they used the old paddle shifter with a makeshift clutch from a break handle. They were clunky, and out of balance. Remember these things are built for racing, and is any racing machine really orderly and comfortable?

heey, the video is very cool, but you must not pull the gearshift so hard, just to release the accelerator a little bit and then pull the gearshift a little bit try it ;D
actually yes its wrong, even the position of his hand is wrong on the top of the stick, this is NOT how he is supposed to hold the gearbox stick. I will post a reply to show how it supposed to sound and then you can comment on that.

250 would be an absolute blast on this road...watch out on those switchbacks though, looks like it could be a LONG way down over the side!
