Marcelo Bielsa took every Leeds player's game to a level they never knew possible. Stuart Dallas was the finest example of this. Stuart could virtually play in any position asked of him. He become indispensable to how Bielsa's masterplan at Leeds unfolded. Stuart was a warrior and gave it his all in a Leeds jersey. He lived by the principle "side before self". It was devastating that his injury literally ended his career. He will always be considered a Leeds United legend.
One of our best utility players ever could play in so many positions his goal against city in lockdown will love long in my memory shame no fans could witness in the stadium
What an awesome player and an awesome person. He played every match for the badge. So sorry his career ended. Hope the club offers him a coaching role.
Stuart Dallas is a Leeds legend. Really hope he can be involved around the club as he could be a great coach in the academy. Building site to the Premier Lge 💫🍀👍
Legend.Bielsa had these lads playing a standard they never thought they could reach. When Marcello left, we lost a legend, and an atmosphere went went with him that we will never witness again.
I remember this. Sad way for a players career to end. Stuart was brilliant for leeds. Bielsa really brought his game up several notches. In reality it was always there but Bielsa was tremendous in raising players to another level. Greatly missed by the team from that day onwards.
I fractured my femur as well. Couldn’t imagine what he went through.. as soon as the fracture news came out i knew it was career ending. All respect to him
He was such a warrior..very rarely went off the pitch injured. Seeing him stretchered off the pitch, all the leeds fans knew he was really badly injured.
Stu Dallas is a Leeds United 🦚🇮🇨 legend a first class 🥇 gentlemen has time for everyone humble honest man tragic he broke his leg badly a terrible break this man gave 100 percent every match a SIDE BEFORE SELF EVERY TIME player. For me Stu Dallas is the Northern Ireland Paul Madeley played every position like the Legendary Paul Madeley apart from goal keeper respect Stu Dallas 🙏🤝🫶 thanks lads marching on together we all love Leeds keep fighting all Leeds aren't we 🦚🇮🇨🤍💛💙🫶🙏🤝
Such a shame, top bloke and top top player. Gave everything for leeds, he'd have played in goal if needed he was such a talent. Lads sums up what it means to be leeds. MOT.
I am a firm believer that any challenge which results in an opponent being withdrawn due to that challenge, should be an immediate red card offense. I am also a believer that the recovery time should also be the duration of that players suspension. That challenge from Grealish ended Stuarts playing career. Regardless of whether Grealish meant to end Stuarts career, regardless of whether he was booked for the challenge, he should have been sent off. I recall the game the season before, when Cooper was sent off for a challenge, curiously on another City player, who continued to play the game afterwards, possibly even completed the match. Regardless of Coopers intent, he was sent off for a 'dangerous challenge'. In the same match Fernandinho, made a challenge on Raphinha, which resulted in Raphinha's immediate withdrawal, and at a later stage that day it was revealed Raphinha suffered a blood clot in his leg which 'could' have ended his career, because of the threat of amputation.... yet Fernandinho was permitted to continue playing in the next game and onwards. Yes he was booked.... but seriously..... he could have ended a career that day with either malicious intent, or clumsiness. Is there an excuse for that? If a player being genuinely removed due to an injury caused resulted in a Red Card offense, tackles and challenges would be taken more seriously by opponents.
The best thing for human beings, especially if they've been drugged as stuart was, is silence. A guy telling drugged/in pain stuart he's not going to play again activates the reactive part of the mind and can and often does negatively effect cellular healing. The medical handling could be perfect but the wrong words spoken near someone experiencing pain and unconsciousness can screw the pooch.
Spotify BLOWS. Just battled for 10 minutes to get that shit to play on my smart tv. Spotify is garbage. Just post this shit on RUclips, you lose so many views, I will rarely put up with the nonsense hoops just to play a full episode.
He was flying into tackles that game Dallas. He was trying to hurt other players then karma hit him. Sad it ended his career but it was going to happen to someone the way he was throwing himself into tackles like he was.

Cookstown Cafu, Legend! Hope he comes back to Leeds as a Coach.
Christ how cringey is that
Stu is an absolute legend for us, really hope the club helps him he'd make a quality coach
And that's the mentality that got us relegated
@@RyanDogs Or maybe it was those groups of shit fans criticising everything instead of actually supporting
Stuart Dallas FPL Legend!
Absolute Leeds legend. Gutted this happened, but hope he appreciates how loved he is and how much joy he brought us Leeds fans. MOT 👊

He played exactly 500 senior games. 62 caps for country and 438 league games. Ain't bad
Love Stuart Dallas, hate podcasts on Spotify. Thanks for this here at least.
Why do you hate podcasts on Spotify?
One of my favourites, put 100% every game . Played for the shirt , what a human bieng stu is and will always be loved by us all in leeds .

Future Leeds manager - love the man to bits and i never fell in love with any Leeds player. Him and Raphinha the last 20 years basically 😅💙💛
Great player and a very nice man.

I remember shattering my left foot, I can imagine the pain he felt.
Absolutely brilliant player for us MOT
Anyone else would watch this as documentary? brilliant episode and fair play Stuart for the true insight. Happy retirement mate
State was an amazing player. Thank for the memories 💙💙💛💙💛💛

Same mate. Still have my femoral pin in after a car smash 7 years ago. I was fairly certain he wouldn't play again 😢
Only one Stuart Dallas
He was such a warrior..very rarely went off the pitch injured. Seeing him stretchered off the pitch, all the leeds fans knew he was really badly injured.
100 per cent every time he played. Horrible way for it to end. Best of luck in the future.
Top man at Leeds.

Stuey D = Legend!
Can't listen on Spotify. MORE of this interview pleeeaaasssseeeee
I'm glad he had that time under Bielsa and was able to achieve his full potential. He was a bit under-appreciated before.
He was a RM with no pace pre bielsa, struggled to take anyone on and deliver a ball. His transformation under bielsa was unbelievable
Heartbroken for Stuey. Modern day Paul Reany. He could play anywhere on the pitch. Rolls Royce of a player.
Such a shame, top bloke and top top player. Gave everything for leeds, he'd have played in goal if needed he was such a talent. Lads sums up what it means to be leeds. MOT.
Stuart is a great guy, wish we got promoted last year just so he could have got on the pitch before he retired

There’s only one Stuart Dallas 🤍💛💙
I felt that Grealish left himself 'heavy' in that challenge IYKWIM
Oh Stuart Dallas, he comes from Cookstown and he was made to play for Leeds...😔
how do you get the whole episode? I downloaded the Spotify but it's not even there it seems.
Wonder who the hell that guy was walking into Stu’s private room saying he will never play again. Shocking for his mental health at the time
Snowflake
Was gutted for stu.
This should be longer , I wanna know the rest of the story
Check out the full episode on Spotify where Stuart talks more about his injury! 🙌🏼
I was at that game, 😢
Me too 🙁
wow
For club and country a man you’d want to be in the trenches with
Stu would've been given Penthrox. It's an inhaler that has an anaesthetic in. It's good stuff, makes you blind for a bit 😂😂
Leeds legend MOT
The pain relief would have been Penthrox, “The green whistle”
Penthrox! That stuff is lethal. Like Nitrous Oxide on steroids
A femoral break is very serious. Large bone breaks without serious medical attention can be life-threatening.
MOT
Oh dear. The guy who came in the room doesn't reflect well on the LGI...

Did Ben Foster actually say Grealish “followed through” ?
Wasn’t it Stuart Dallas tackle on Grealish that resulted in the injury?
No, it was Grealish tackling Dallas, footage of the tackle is on RUclips.
Think Grealish did the usual thing of leaving his leg trailing to win the free kick, but this time his knee went into the top of Dallas' leg
Grealish won the ball and Dallas tried to kick him and ended his own career.
@@monkiimagic-IY
No it wasn’t
You obviously didn’t watch the game
@@VillaBoys123
That’s exactly what happened 👍🏻
Didn’t Grealish nick the ball and Dallas tried to do him but it backfired? That’s how I remember it 🤨
didn’t even talk about his career
Firtyuf
Think Dallas had had too many Botox 😂 what is that face hahaha
THESE clubs are amateurs No medical back up "clinic" with x ray and MRI at stadiums Pathetic , They rely on the local hospital Load of shite

Ended his own career trying to leave one on Grealish
Come back and coach Stu, amazing servant to the club. m.o.t
