  • Hi guys! Here is another quick video in which I show you how to black out your emblems. I even messed up in the video at some point so you can really relate in case it happens to you.
    I’ve been familiar with dip for now 7 years so I know what I am talking about even though I am not a pro car dipper. I’ve dipped cars about 6 times with no past experience with spray painting, but trust me, plasti dip doesn’t go on like paint. It’s much more forgiving to apply dip!
    If you have any comment/questions leave them down below and I’ll do my best to answer them ! Cheers ✌🏾

    Tip: Spray-test on the grass, also easier to remove ;)

    May as well take the rear badge off and replace it with a new one that you've customised.
    Pretty sure when mine fell off the replacement only cost £25

    Just to make it clear, when I said I was out of rubbing alcohol I meant that I couldn’t find any anywhere these days, even a couple months ago. Ofc you should NEVER used large quantity of it on your paint, but the little bit that I used, with the wind it was just fine.

    Won't acetone eat the clear of your paint?

    • @lacast_lifestyle
      @lacast_lifestyle  4 года назад

      Yes it would if you apply a lot and let it sit, which is why I mentioned that you should use regular 80/90% Alcohol ! I apply barely any onto a microfiber so its fine!

    Can you do this with pink?

    • @lacast_lifestyle
      @lacast_lifestyle  3 года назад +1

      You mean the pink can of plasti dip? Yes of course ! Make sure to follow the steps in the video and use rubbing alcohol if you can find some! Go light with the first coat and slowly heavier with the next ones 👍🏾

    You can literally buy black badges on eBay for pennies.

      This was 5$ and a little time. Debagging is pricier, and takes more time.
