I graduated from college with $0 in debt. It took me 5.5 years to graduate because I was paying out of pocket but at least I don’t have any student loan debt.
My student loans bill was $348 a month but i always paid $500 every month, did that for 5 years. I finally had saved enough to pay off the entire balance last month (05/2019). On top of this I had another $500 month truck loan, which again I saved up enough to pay off the note last month (05/2019). I also paid off about $5500 in credit cards. Paid off bout $21,000 in debt all at once last month. All while growing my savings account. I now have about $42,000 in savings. My goal by the end of the year is to have a balance of at least $50,000, shooting for $60,000 but were half way through the year so well see.
Great explanation on Subsidized vs unsubsizded loan. This needs to be taught to all college kids, it make biiiiig difference if u dont acrue interest while in college with subsidized.
I used to work in the financial aid office at a community college and I stressed this to all of the students... I would say 75% of them didn't listen/care and it was insanely frustrating for me. I understand it's their problem to deal with once they take it but we tried SO HARD and they DID NOT CARE. It was exhausting. So glad I switched careers.
I dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account? I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!

First off, start off with community college. It is way cheaper than university. I also avoided living in dorms. So I did this thing where I have a special envelope. Money goes in but it is never to be taken out until I hit university. I worked part time and saved maybe 50 percent of my income while living with parents. That 50 percent went inside the envelope. I also had Pell Grant, money that does not need to be paid back. They give more than enough to pay for community college and even give money back. So when I cashed them in, I put them in a envelop as well. Anything that wasn't in the envelop is what I was willing to spend. By the time I got to university, I stacked up about $10,000. I still received Pell Grant but it didn't cover for everything in university. Instead I had to pay around $1800 on hand at most for 12 credit hours. You also pay the same if you decide to be part time student because Pell Grant adjust how much they give you based on the number of credit hours you take. So really, it's cheaper to take more classes. I didn't take out a loan from the government. If anything, I graduated with a surplus. This is mostly thanks to financial planning and working part time.
Taking out student loan should be used as a last resort. If you ended up doing that in the first semester of university then you are doing it wrong. At least last as long without borrowing as much as you can to minimize your debt.
Just wanted to say I'm out here fighting like crazy to avoid student debt. I have a strong dislike for giving away money and so I found a paid internship opportunity, along with scholarships as well. As a freshman going into college, I've spent the summer applying for scholarships and listening to people like Dave Ramsey and Graham Stephen which has truly helped me! Thank you for the added motivation to avoid Sallie Mae and student loans at all costs👏🏽
WOW! Congrats!! You are way ahead of your classmates. I met with a student who earned $70k+ in scholarship money which is pretty inspiring. You might find it helpful: debtfreemillennials.com/how-to-apply-for-scholarships/
I joined the military and did my six years got my GI Bill went to a state college first which used to be a community college but started offering bachelors. Got my bachelors in criminology at the state college then got my masters at Florida State university and I am debt free and still have money on my gi bill.
LOVE this. I find the people I have spoken to in the military can get caught up with buying new cars and bigger homes because they have a GI bill and get BAH pay. It sounds like you took a smart approach by going through a state school to cashflow tuition.
Then my student loan debt is fantastic $0. I went to community college, I was going to transfer to 4 Year university but started making real money so I just kept working.
At 18 I took one look at the price of credits and laughed. Walked right out. I eventually went to college in my late 20s under an employers program. I'm really glad I had an understanding of 3rd grade math to see this wasn't a good idea
I have so much sympathy for people with a lot of student loan debt. I think it's tragic, really. But, a loan does mean that it needs to be paid back. It's unfortunate that many people don't think about that at the beginning. Or, at the very least, the lenders do not emphasize that enough.
I’m over 25,000 in student loans. Last time I checked it was about 27,000 in total. I’m done with college officially this semester. I’m going to start paying on my debt immediately. Wish I would’ve seen this video sooner

Work 20-30 hours a week in high school, work 20-30 hours a week in college. Live at home while at school (I commuted 40 minutes, I know people commuting over an hour) No fast food runs. Side hustle. Chose a worthwhile major(don’t go to school for a job that will make you 35k a year-you can easily make that much without a degree). School, work, eat, sleep. School, work, eat, sleep. College is not for fun. It’s your job. Get it done. 60k salary, 20k debt upon graduation, paid off before the 6 month grace period. No interest paid. 40k in the bank a year later, 15k dumped into my project car. Thanks govt. for the free loan.
I'd like to think college is an experience that includes learning, responsibility, and fun. I think it's unfair that tuition has gotten so out of control that not only do we go to school full time, we have to work 20-30 hours per week to make ends meet, plus make all the other adjustments that you mentioned. I'm not sure what the answer is to decreasing tuition but I fear we have an education bubble that is about to burst.
Debt Free Millennials the solution to the insane cost of tuition is reducing or eliminating government backed loans. Since people are able to take out more debt up front, schools realize that people can still afford to go to school even if they increase tuition. Think about it, if you could afford to pay 10k cash per year to go to school, and the school charges 10k then you’re good. Cost covered. What happens is the government comes in and says “hey, I’ll give you a loan for 10k for your schooling.” The schools hear this conversation happening and they think “hey, if they could afford 10k cash before, they’ll still be able to afford to pay 10k cash even if they get a loan, so let’s up tuition to 15k and people still won’t have any trouble covering it.” This new tuition rate gets back to the government so they increase how much money they’ll loan you, then schools increase tuition, then the govt loans more money, etc. Its a cycle that won’t end unless the govt gets out of school loans.
I was so clueless when I signed up for getting student loans. I'm not paying them off and documenting it on my channel because I don't want other students to be in my position!
Another thing about student loans (my case at least) is that with unsub loans you can actually cancel them before it disburses to your school by talking to your financial aid office
@@kaitlynmiller7891 it's in the master promissory note under william d ford part, also in the studentloans.gov website it kinda talks to you about your loan information, talk to your financial aid office about it.
@@bigdavetv3782 like i said before, the link i shared explains that if you want any info on your loan status or cancel(so long as it wasn't disbursed) you'd have to talk to your financial aid councillor. I did that and decided to just pay for my schooling out of pocket.
Just found your channel. Great job! I'm 30 getting ready to finish my bachelor's at Arizona State University. Trying to come out debt free or maybe $5k in debt 🤞
Still at a community college working towards my Associate's degree. At a later time, will need to earn Bachelor's, Master's degrees. This well appreciated for future reference.
When I had Student Loan Debt free life was once I graduated I paid off my Debt by join the Army LRP (Loan Repayment Program)! Heck even Women took advantage of that! It’s not called that anymore but something is still there!
One of the biggest factors is just helping incoming students know the difference in cost when selecting 2 schools. Thanks for sharing your tips! Once you graduate, it's not about the balance. It's about your interest rates and PLAN!
Community colleges are also a thing. 3-4 times cheaper and it is the same material. And if anyone wishes, which I would not recommend, they can transfer to a 4 year university. I think that is how it works.
Never thought I would need to get student loans so high up there. The total amount I have right now is $19k...out of which $7k is unsubsidized. I plan to pay the whole thing off while still in school (have around 1.5 yrs left) hopefully and not having to take out any more loans its just soooo stressful thinking about it!
Don't worry if you can't pay it all off right this instant. It will be okay if it takes a little longer! Just focus on cash flowing as much as you can now.
i had a chance to do student loans, but decided to drop my network certificate program and buy all the books and required materials and train myself as opposed to going to school. I go at it at my own pace and don't have to worry about gpa or deadlines. I know it will take longer but its just a certificate.
Love the breakdown! There’s so much I wish I knew earlier on...but hey it’s all good 💰✨ I just shared a video on what options students have when it’s time to pay back their loans ✨

I thank God a lot that I learned all those things you are saying and more in high school! Thank God for Ms. Vernon, my high school economics teacher who was ignored but almost all my classmates and are probably in huge debt now
Moral of the story if you’re unable to get into a top 50 school go to your state school or community college. Depending on your situation transferring out of community college after 2 years is also a viable option.
True, and also- I was not interested in going to a community college. I really wanted that 4-year university feel.. campus life, purple everything, football games, etc. I was willing to do what it took to get there, but I needed to be more educated about tuition costs and using scholarships to my advantage.
I have been paying back my student loans over 25 years and I still owe more than I borrowed. I am a victim of this repayment scam that has tricked millions of borrowers. I feel there will never be any relief for me.
Thanks for the video, it's crazy kids get big loans. I have rented to many college kids for years. Do you really think if you had known, would you have really changed. I see kids living the life with know worries. Thanks for the video hopefully many more kids will watch this.
I think it would have changed how I spent money for sure. I would have made sure I wasn't getting a refund by taking out too much in loans and focused more on scholarships especially in the summer when I had more time to dedicate to finding scholarships.
Never ever EVER take out unsubsidized loans. Absolutely the worst thing you can do financially. Capitalized interest is about 1 step away from a loan shark.
Don't be scared! Do everything in your power to get after those scholarships and cashflow as much as possible. I even called my financial aid office for help and they gave me a grant! You can do it girl.

You know the only read I clicked on your video is because of your purple Wildcat hat. 😛 I’m a Kansan and I lived in Manhattan for a short amount of time. I was dating a man going to KSU, and he was at 40,000 in debt through college debts. That alone bothered me so much. We dated for 2 years, I couldn’t see myself marrying him with that much money in debt. (And his fun in Aggieville didn’t help that much either. Ha! ). Anyways, so proud of you turning money smart and helping lots of people! Keep it up!
Have you applied for any grants? Have you called the financial aid office? I called my university's financial aid office and pleaded my case and was able to get $1,000. It's not much but it HELPS.
First off, you need to do RESearch LOL. Community college for 4 semester ( 2 years). Total cost?= 5-10k. Lol soo cheap. Next step?! Transfer to an in state public school and continue to apply for Grant's, BUT. You must WORK part time while in community. Plus this will give u more flexibility and less penalty to figure out what you want to study. Please study something marketable! Not liberal arts or to be a florist. You need technical skills. If you like computers you dont even need College. You can get a certificate in 10 months making 50k. I just told you something you parents probably didnt And dont be an idiot and go to school just because everyone else is. Only go if you truly know what you can/will excel in
@@hungcapitalll im going to start communnity college next month and i got a pell grant and a subsidized loan. Should I accept the subside loan it is around 3k
@@user-lc9vf1pl4t are you going to be paying rent or anything? 3k isnt bad. But i would not rack up too much debt on the credit during this time. You never know what financial burden life will throw at by years end. Less debt = good. If your working a young adult job i would also say you avoid "silly expenditures" such as dunkin coffee everyday and a bag of chips. If your parents wont be supporting you money wise you want to start practicing budgeting skills, as a side note. You should be fine.
BEastCoast okay can you give me advice? I'll going to be going to school abroad and I'll be eligible for a subsided loan with the 6 month grace period which will leave me with around 90k in tuition fees student debt + living and food expenses which should rank up to 120k dollars of student loan depending on the country I choose to study in. I want to choose a country that's cheap and will not leave me in huge amounts of student debt, so I'm leaning towards Eastern European countries for university, however most universities in Europe too cost around 15k usd tuition for the degree that I'm interested in which is medicine. I just need to figure out how I can pay off my debt since I'll be approximately 120k+ debt should I work part time when I'll be in first year? Or should I not focus on my students at all and just study in uni? I really don't want to spend all my life paying off my student loans.
Or no more stupid majors for jobs in fields that are already dying or being revolutionized and the colleges can't prepare students for it at all. But they'll happily take your tuition money.

I’m going to be a freshman in college and I have a couple of questions. I have a balance that needs to be paid (I already did fasfa and got subsidized/unsubsidised loans) should I do private loans? If so which one is the most reliable? When do you typically pay private loans back? Should I get a part time job as a freshman? Can you really get money from survey junkie? Thank you in advance!!
I think you need to ask yourself: how much is tuition/books/living expenses? Do I have enough to cover those things? Then you can look at the amount that was awarded to you and see if you have enough. One thing to note, you do NOT have to accept the full amount that was offered to you. I made this mistake by accepting the entire amount and had a surplus a few semesters. Don't do this! Yes, you should get a part-time job. Even better if you can find something on campus! Survey Junkie is not a good way to get income. It is a good way to build up small gift cards for coffee or Christmas gifts.
If I go back to college to get my B.S. it will cost about $40,000 books, computer, tuition, coverage residency, bills. In order to actually pass the 1st 2 semesters I wouldn't be able to hold a job so the loan would have to cover all of that. Then if I wanted to go back for my masters it would cost even more and I would be paying it off for the next 30yrs. Is that normal, to have to pay back a student loan for 30years?
If you loan $10000, with an interest rate of 12% over 15 years. If you pay the $10000 right away after graduation due to unexpected financial success, will you still pay the total balance of $26000, which is the total cost for 15 year or just $10000.
Im going into internship as a graduate with a little excess money from my graduate plus loan this quarter. Thing is, internship isnt paid and I have to work less. Would it be better to not accept the PLUS loan to reduce interest, or take it and save the excess I have?
I'm transferring to an out of state school in the fall to get my bachelor's degree and I am absolutely clueless about private loans, does anyone have recommendations on which private loans are the best based off personal experience?

Please don't go out of state that's way too expensive. If anything do an instate school or online school and get you an entry level job to get experience. You are putting yourself in debt
So if I choose the subsidized loan I start paying that off 6 months after graduation right? Now does the interest start at that point or is it retroactive interest from the day I start school? Sorry if this is confusing I guess what I'm trying to ask is does all that interest get added on 6 months after graduation
Hoping you’ll reply now, but my freshman year I’ll probably be owing about $38k unless I remove the housing cost which will bring the price down to about $26k. Either way, it’s a lot of money mostly cause of out of state tuition. I’m gonna switch my address to receive in state tuition which would save $24k dollars each year, but I’d be independent and wouldn’t receive financial aid. What do I do?
I really want to go to this college but I’m scared I won’t be able to afford it or have to ask a bank for money since their interest rates are typically high
Look go to an instate cheap college don't put yourself in debt trying to go to some big name school. Find you a entry level job part time while in school to get you some experience. Don't put yourself in debt.
The student loan debt is not the only crisis. When you add child support payments on top then problem is worst. With both programs you cannot discharge in bankruptcy. Why is the government imposing this restriction on our future population.
Yes you are correct. College loan is self imposed but child support is forced upon you. My message is if you have both (mostly men) then start the process to remove yourself from child support.
My statement is student loan is self-imposed (by choice). However "child support" and "support of your child" is not the same. Child support is a debt collection agency. 45 CFR 301.1 Child Support Office means the Office of Child Support Enforcement which is the separate organizational unit within the Department with the responsibility for the administration of the program under this title.
Why doesnt the US government forgive the accumulating interest on all existing college loans (both private & govt) and let borrowers just pay off the original principals on their loans? Obviously our govt has done nothing except create some incipid repayment programs that dont eliminate this burden on our graduates who cant find good paying jobs. UNECESSARY FOREIGN AID could B diverted 2 help subsidize colleges & universities with tools 2 effectively teach curriculums emphasizing science, technology, or medicine (not fine or liberal arts, social studies, law, sports). College tuitions and professor salaries need 2B capped. All future college loan interest should also B capped permanently @ 2% with no compounding. We need smart, proactive people - they are the antidote to a stupid government.
Good question. People have been debating this for years. You essentially put an entire generation in debt. A cycle of debts as well. And depending on the person, they may not know how to escape from this trap. Anyone can learn just as much if not more just from regular employment and community colleges are always a thing. A heck of a lot cheaper too.
I graduated i high school in 2016 and earned a football scholarship to Holmes community college, and graduated in 2018, to be honest, if I didn’t get a football scholarship, I wasn’t going, he’ll if I had to pay money out of pocket I wasn’t going

How can I get a loan to help pay for bills off campus. I'm honestly not worried about the debt much, when I worked as a ready mix driver I paid off a 20,000 car in a year.
How much are your bills? I would highly encourage you to cashflow your bills. That's what I did and it saved me from going into more debt than what I already had with student loans.
I borrowed $20,000 federal student loans. In 2006 I defaulted and got a $5000 penalty. Today I've paid back $37,000 and still owe $8,600. Thankfully I never went to graduate school. I'd be in debt for life. Recently I put my $8,600 into a direct loan consolidation on Income Based Repayment. If Biden is able to forgive that $10,000 I'm out. It'll be a tax refund for me. Also, I did get private loans and paid probably around $20,000 for that when it was only about $10,000. I paid $8000 in cash on that one a few years ago to get it out of my hair. Also, I recently paid $8000 in cash to get out of my private student loan. I'm a disabled veteran and lost my ability to speak normally for 20 years due to my disability. I worked as a nighttime security guard making $13 an hour. Thankfully I never got credit card debt.

Back before to student loans were more to great lakes. I found a trick if you paid 2 months. And then stayed a month ahead of what is due. Everything you paid would go to the principle and no interest 👍🤔. Pointless info now though 🙄
I never had student loans so I don't understand how they really work. My daughter has friends in college that have huge student loan debts. These kids have used student loan money to buy cars, go on expensive European vacations, one bought bit coin and lost their butt on it, one used student loan money to buy real estate. How are these kids doing these things? I thought student loans where paid to the school and only used for educational purposes. Please explain how they can do this. Very confused.
If you accept more loans than what you really need, university's can refund the remaining loan amount into a student's personal bank account. It happened to me. For example if tuition is $10,000 but you took out a $15,000 loan, the remaining $5,000 gets refunded directly to the student's bank account. Then that student could be wreckless and spend it on bitcoin, expensive European vacations, etc. The problem is it can be confusing to know exactly how much you need to pay in tuition prior to accepting a loan.

Thanks for informative video. I have just been accepted into the college. I got some FAFSA and TAP as well. Also I see subsidized and unsubsidized funds among my awards. What should I do? I have to either accept it or decline. Should I decline the fed direct unsubsidized loan???
The lesser of the two evils would be subsidized! That's because subsidized loans do NOT accrue interest while you are in school. Keep in mind, you do NOT have to accept all of the loans you see in your account. What I would do is figure out how much tuition you owe first before accepting anything.
I never went to college so I don't have any student loans .... I make 65k a year as a Trucker.... I don't understand why college cost so much...I've met college graduates who make less then Truckers...🤔🚛
Im literally so confused 😩. Im entering college as a freshman this fall. On my financial aid report, i have $1,750 for subsidized and $1,000 for unsubsidized loans thats are offered. None of then have been applied yet and i have to pay $787 on August 10th of this month but thats too much. What do I do? Im so confused. Do i ask my school if they can add it for me?
Hey hon email your financial aid office with your issues. Be honest and don't be ashamed. If the loan money hasn't posted yet in your account and the balance is 787$, then you shouldn't worry about it. once it goes through the balance will be solved. If it has already been posted and you still have to pay that much ask for any other scholarship grants available and/or to be put on a payment plan. Never be scared to ask for money!!
You have to log on to your school account and accept or reject your financial aid. Then it gets applied towards your tuition bill. If you only owe $787, I would only accept $787 of the subsidized loan because the interest doesn't accrue while you're in school. If you have Qs, DM me on Instagram and I can try to help @debtfreemillennials_
do you think its a good idea to get a credit card to make your credit score higher? my credit is bad due to my student loans and which credit card would get approved
I do think a credit card helps establish credit, but the best thing you can do to improve your score is make on-time payments on those student loans. I didn't get a CC until I was 26 and my credit score was good because I made payments to my student loans. If you have never applied for a CC before, I suggest applying for one with your local bank first. It's not going to be the best in terms of rewards programs, but you're more likely to get approved. Then after a year, you can switch to a better card, like Chase Freedom/Freedom Unlimited which has no annual fee and a great rewards program.

Im going for my second bachelors at full sail and will be using finacial aid for the first time. I am seeing now that outside of scholarship my loans will be a little over 45K a year. Is this too much for me to pay off on my own or do i just need to make th monthly payments while attending?
I would try to cashflow tuition as much as possible. What bachelor's degree are you studying? Will the job have a salary that can help you pay off debt? I paid off $35k with a $37k salary but it wasn't always fun and took me over two years to pay off. I'd much rather walk away from school with no payments!
@@DebtFreeMillennials the degree im going for is computer animation so there are a number of jobs i can get with that that would allow me to pay off the debt that could be in excess of 60-70K of debt it would just take some time my biggest concern is i guess getting the job after the degree as this can be a scary time for some people. I'd rather have no debt but its looking like the best option for what i want to do involves me incurring a good amount of debt or wasting 4-6 years building myself up on my own to get into a position the degree would help prepare me for
If I were you... I would start looking at companies that you want to work for. Make a list. Then reach out to each company and ask if you can shadow them for a day. Or ask them if you can pick their brain over a cup of coffee. Networking is KEY to getting a job right after graduation. All it takes is just reaching out to people.
You should not take out that much debt. Consider taking a extra year or two to work and cashflow the degree. Graduating with $100k in debt with an animation degree that will not guarantee a job right out of college is scary. I would say try not to take out more than half of what you will be making after college. Also, take into account how difficult it will be to get a job in your assessment. Think of it as an investment and don't forget to include all the risks in your analysis.
And finally you wonder why there are exact numbers from the government agencies running these loans and you can't figure out how they calculated these numbers? Because they calculated for years on how to suck every last penny away from you. And you thought private banks were predatory.
In my experience, you can. I frequently received refunds from the student loans I took out which means I was taking out more loans than needed to cover tuition. Student loans can also be used for housing/transportation which could be why your student loan amount is more than tuition.
Maybe you should've learned the difference _BEFORE_ you took out a loan you didn't understand. Seems like you could've saved yourself a huge headache if you did a little research.
why do we need unsubsidised? Why cant we have interest free loans. Other countries have free colleges why cant we? I HATE MY LOANS. listen, people, this is the story for all of us that go to college, ok. So sad. No wonder why the education system demands that is best to go to college. Why dont they explain the debt that we fall in?. Oh no. No one would want to go to college then. while you are in college get a job and pay all that you can on your loans. And don't accept any money you get just give it back to the loan people.

I graduated from college with $0 in debt. It took me 5.5 years to graduate because I was paying out of pocket but at least I don’t have any student loan debt.
Congrats!! That's amazing

Michael what’s your email and I’ll send you my credit report.
Thats currently what im doing. I found this video because im wondering if i want to do a small unsub loan.
Good for you.
Congrats! That's a HUGE accomplishment! Are you building up an emergency fund with that $60k?
Good
i have $92 in my checking account

Great explanation on Subsidized vs unsubsizded loan. This needs to be taught to all college kids, it make biiiiig difference if u dont acrue interest while in college with subsidized.
Thanks! I was so confused about it when I was in college.
They do teach this. I remember taking entry and exit counseling that explains all of this in order to even to get a loan.
I dont mean to be off topic but does anyone know of a tool to get back into an instagram account?
I was dumb lost the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me!
If you need a loan then its should all be need based or none be need based. Hence why you need a loan. So dumb to me.
I don’t have student loans, however did have about 20k in medical and credit card 2 years ago. Not done yet but so close I can taste it.
Medical debt or expenses ?

Keep going! Good job!

Congratulations on paying off your debt very important in a distressed economy .
Peter Griffin what kind of job did you get with criminology degree? And also what was ur masters degree in?
Do you have to be in the military for six years to get the GI Bill or can you go for 2 years and still get it?

Ugh, I know and I hate that $35k is normal!
Then my student loan debt is fantastic $0.
I went to community college, I was going to transfer to 4 Year university but started making real money so I just kept working.
Right dude!
@@xman666soad why didn’t you take any loans to go 4 year anyway?
Easiest way of not having student loan debt is by going to a community college for your first 2 years and apply for scholarships.
For sure!! I wish I would have applied for more scholarships and added it into my high school senior year routine. I feel like it would have paid off!

I was willing to do what it took to get there, but I needed to be more educated about tuition costs and using scholarships to my advantage.

okay can you give me advice? I'll going to be going to school abroad and I'll be eligible for a subsided loan with the 6 month grace period which will leave me with around 90k in tuition fees student debt + living and food expenses which should rank up to 120k dollars of student loan depending on the country I choose to study in.
Do you think grad school is worth the loans? A creative writing degree?
Do you know of any online scholarships for grad programs?
In other words, YOU HAVE TO QUALIFY for a subsidized student loan.

Excellent suggestions. Thanks

Is that possible to get a loan for international students
Hoping you’ll reply now, but my freshman year I’ll probably be owing about $38k unless I remove the housing cost which will bring the price down to about $26k. Either way, it’s a lot of money mostly cause of out of state tuition. I’m gonna switch my address to receive in state tuition which would save $24k dollars each year, but I’d be independent and wouldn’t receive financial aid. What do I do?
Also where would I get loans because I’m only eligible for max $5500 my first year
I really want to go to this college but I’m scared I won’t be able to afford it or have to ask a bank for money since their interest rates are typically high

45 CFR 301.1 Child Support
Office means the Office of Child Support Enforcement which is the separate organizational unit within the Department with the responsibility for the administration of the program under this title.
Hi this was very impormative..Just wondering how much is the interest rate for this student loan?

Ahhhhh love Aggieville! Visited several summers specifically for varsity donuts
YESSS!! Have you tried the grilled cheese mac n' cheese from their food truck? So. Worth. It.
Wow Thank you so much
You're welcome!
I am looking for student loan but I think I might look for different option. Do you have advice for me?
There is an order of operations in order to pay for college. I really like this blog post by The College Investor to help keep things organized for you: thecollegeinvestor.com/21877/pay-for-college/

I dont have student loan debt i have 2 years of school paid for so im applying for scholarships paid for before i finish my first year of school
Ugh I know... it doesn't make sense!! Truck drivers make exceptionally good money!
When the DOD loses 2,3 trillion it's oopsie!!! But when students through no fault of their own are unable to payback loans it is a "crisis".
@@adjandoye1238 thank you!!
Then after a year, you can switch to a better card, like Chase Freedom/Freedom Unlimited which has no annual fee and a great rewards program.

hi! could i email/dm you some questions about student loans?
Sure!
ZRAIARZ you shouldn’t do this
What camera do you use?
Canon Rebel T7i!
Remember Obama did this to us back in 2009. But they said it was going to help taking your loans out of the hands of the private banks.
Where is the link to Survey Junkie???
Ahh, thank you for telling me. Just added the link to the description. 😀
What is the name of the website that she mentioned that would help ace my student loan debt

If you can't afford to go to collage, THEN DON"T TAKE OUT A LOAN YOU CAN"T PAY OFF !!!
You can pick up some work with berlitz doing French translation since you have a minor in French why don't you use it before you forget it?
And finally you wonder why there are exact numbers from the government agencies running these loans and you can't figure out how they calculated these numbers? Because they calculated for years on how to suck every last penny away from you. And you thought private banks were predatory.
So you can’t take a student loan out greater than your school costs
In my experience, you can. I frequently received refunds from the student loans I took out which means I was taking out more loans than needed to cover tuition. Student loans can also be used for housing/transportation which could be why your student loan amount is more than tuition.
Maybe you should've learned the difference _BEFORE_ you took out a loan you didn't understand. Seems like you could've saved yourself a huge headache if you did a little research.
Holy shit, how about this? Who the heck reads the fine print? We all get screwed by what we don't read. Pay your debts. You signed on the dotted line.
I was so triggered when you said aggeville lol
I miss it so much!
High school teaches economics in 11th grade: apparently you didn’t get an A.
The crazy thing is they didn't require economics at my high school!
Get Scholarships ...If you pay attention in High School... :)
Amen!
will I get maintenance loan in college??
?? what do you mean maintenance loan
why do we need unsubsidised? Why cant we have interest free loans. Other countries have free colleges why cant we? I HATE MY LOANS. listen, people, this is the story for all of us that go to college, ok. So sad. No wonder why the education system demands that is best to go to college. Why dont they explain the debt that we fall in?. Oh no. No one would want to go to college then.
while you are in college get a job and pay all that you can on your loans. And don't accept any money you get just give it back to the loan people.
Oh I wish I received 30,000 a year. Im only at 18,000 a year.
You can totally increase your income! I never thought I'd get past that first salary and then I made moves to make it happen.
