Hi there. Could you please point me to where I can find a system update for this device (or compatible). There is no OTA update for this device and the current security patch is dated 5 April 2021. The local update option is available from the system menu and it is also possible to ADB boot into recovery using Termux. All I need is an .img but could not find any trustworthy resources to date.
Hey Dilan, try downloading a file explorer app. One such as X-plore File manager via Google Play should allow you to do this. Also if you are transferring video files this way, I recommend downloading VLC for Android, it will allow you to open many more formats than the standard built-in video apps.
Hi, sorry to hear about your bad experience. Have you contacted the store/seller? It must still be covered by warranty. Perhaps it can just be exchanged if the one you received is faulty.
Not entirely sure, but check the sound settings within the settings menu to ensure that its not somehow muted or set incorrectly to a different sound output device.
Hi Toinette, I belive that you would, as this has full access to the Google Play Store and apps such as Shark VPN, etc are all available through the app store which should allow them to work on the Skyworth Leap-S1
Both great Android TV boxes. I have used both, with the main advantage of the Skyworth being bigger size of device i.e. more available ports such as USB and LAN

Hi Fanie, yes it is DSTV NOW compatible, I have used it and it works well.
Netflix gives network error. All the other apps can access network. What could be the problem?
I would try to delete and re-install Netflix application. Not sure what could be causing the error.

Try and re-install the app perhaps, might be software related glitch with the Android app.
