6:38 that’s true, it literal looks like the cab is reversed.. that a pillar looks like a rear c pillar 😮
On the old chassis- twin blue ball ends and black side pieces are for running a shorty-
There should be orig blue 90 deg battery stops for orig long battery-
I’ll send you a pm for the hardware-
Totally agree about the 503 vs the 502 side windows. The 503 looks much better!
The 502 looks like a cab forward that has been turned around, in my opinion. It’s weird because I don’t think anyone would design a cab like that for a real car.
@@ryansmith8782yeah, I thought it was back to front!
Looks insane Glen congratulations.
You should get your new shells painted the same
As this car. This is the best shell in your Collection by far.
Absolutely alll painters need a WoW and 👍👍 Glenn I would love to see another shell for 1 of these beauties in the same colour as your 801!! 1/8 minter 👍👍
Oh my goodness you are a star! I couldn’t decide how I’m going to finish the 211? But yep I’ll get it done the same as the 801 🤩 absolutely stonking idea Wayne thank you 😊
Very interesting video I am glad you worked out the steering
I do enjoy watching your videos. I have been out of RC cars for 30 years until now and again and I just love Tamiya RC cars. I always learn something from someone who is an enthusiast.
Looks great Glenn
Btw - tb evo sneaking into the back of shot, can't wait to see that one! 😉👍
Looking great.. Thanks for sharing.😎👍
as usual, speechless while watching your trf videos
My pleasure my friend. Looking forward to seeing it done.
Thank you 😇😇😇
Very well done on the progress with the TRF cars!
Sun's out guns out!
😂😂👊🏻
211XM doesn't come with the TRF aluminium Racing steering set out of the box - so that's a hopup (a very very rare one!)
Great video!
So glad I tuned into your video Glen. Loved the cars and seeing you in the vest reminded me that I’d forgot to buy a fresh chicken for tomorrows Sunday roast. 😬
🤣🤣👊🏻
We know he means business when the vests come out 👍😃
🤣🤣👊🏻
Nice chassises, can't say I like cab forward shells though. Eeeyup! Theres owt tatty muck round ere!! .....bah gum....
Keith is awesome btw.
As a bradford Fan i salute you 👏, we will rise again 💪
This is our season my friend 😇🙏🏻🙏🏻
Looks very cool
With that body on Glenn
Glen I’ve never had any TRF gear and I can’t help thinking I’ve really missed out over the years.. there’s so much to it!!!
I ran the proline bulldog bodies on my 501X WE and my 511. Nice bodies, worked well.
If it is the hex part of that screw if stripped you could slice a notch with a Dremel tool and use a small flathead screwdriver. In a pinch of course.
Nice adition, i do like that white chassis but that 201 👌 i’ll have to keep my eye’s out for one now 😁
Glenn , you are a lucky bloke maté getting these , as I’ve been searching for such a long time and well just can’t get just one TRF buggy in Australia or anywhere in the world
I think Keith is a bloody SAINT! Good looking TRF collection Glenn! 🤜🤛
Looking forward to seeing the finished proline body on the 211, that's going to be truly special 🙌 😎
Looks awesome Glenn I'm sure it will be even better when it's in paint and you've decaled it😅
Now you need regular 211 car.
Looking at a 211xm manual from Tamiya's download page the steering arms do appear to be upside down but the manual isn't 100% clear, maybe it was done like that to stop the wheels moving to display the car.
What an awesome TRF buggy! Personally I'm not keen on the white chassis, it looks a bit odd, and still not sold on the cab forward shell, but that one is actually not that bad looking. Great video as always dude!!
TRFiffic!! Love this journey Glen and so appreciate you sharing it 🙌
Great video mate 😊👍
Love that forward cab body and I also agree with moving the windows forward giving a smaller A pillar.
What a chassis to have in the collection 👍
Absolutely stunning TRF buggy collection mate. I love the presentation and attention to detail. Keep the excellent work coming!
Never been a fan of forward Cab bodies, but that looks ace! Can't wait to see it painted.
Aww man, RcIcons coming through again :D The chassis looks absolutely lovely. I'm not particularly sold on the body, but lets hope the painting helps, the cab forward bodies look really wonky usually.
I think the front hub carriers are on the wrong side m8 🤘☠🤘
Looking good Glenn, I’m not sure about the forward cab, but hopefully it works with the TRF colours. Is it a 201 rear gearbox that’s on this car ? As you know, I have this chassis
Hi, as far as I can see you are a Tamiya collector, I have a Tamiya TB3 Evo Surikarn Limited Edition on my shelf collecting dust, and id like to sell it to an enthousiast like you. The car is in great shape, but it has been built already, and theres no box. It has a nice amount of spare parts, and the original manual and setup sheets. Let me know if you are interested.
Just got a. super stock tamiya motor Rz .do I need a better speed control...kev .uk
26 minutes lol you can never do a quick video
I know lol 😂
Very interesting video I am glad you worked out the steering
