I just really hope that this pandemic would end. I’m still on 6s and fingerprint sensor is very helpful esp wearing a mask.
The pandemic ended ages ago but they're faking it and making people suffer. BTW most Android phones can recognize you even with a mask.
Tbh I prefer the physical FP sensor it's way more faster and secure and the FP in power key is the best way to do it. 10000% agree with you!
I feel like that's not the way Samsungs in screen is crazy fast and secure and you can still have a case with the fp on the power button cases would be really weird

Hated face id since it started (prior to pandemuc). Two step vs one step with Touch ID.

I had a fingerprint scanner in the power button on my LG V30 and I didn't like it.
It was hard to see the lock screen without unlocking.

Just got the 13 pro max and my previous phone was 8+ and all I got to say is, I miss my home button :(

No matter what features android brings, it will not be able to bring perfomence like apple and keep the same perfomence for years.
Apples performance is great until the next model comes out, then all of a sudden phones get slow and laggy for some strange reason forcing users to update to the latest phone. this has been proven too. shady tactics.
Android wins itself , when you know it's an open source software. All it lacks is the optimization. When it happens, apple will be in waters.

Face detection is not up to the point and hardly works after wearing mask.
You need to come very near to iPhone for iPhone to be able to detect face.
I personally think they'll bring back Touch ID somehow because apple usually tests new technology first on iPad and then implement it in the iPhones but I agree that they might not go with under-screen fingerprint sensor.

id never trust or use face id cos if someone similar face to urs can unlock ur phone it doesnt make for a good security feature if anyone else has access so passcode is way more secure
