It's been 13 years, but I don't miss her any less... I think of her every time I hear this song, it was her favorite song, and they played it at her funeral.

I love this song!! When I was in basic training, we would sing this at mass on Sunday. This was the only place (church) that the instructors would not bother you or scream at you. It was the one time of the week that you could relax and get back in touch with your inner self. My wife died on 11/27/09. She used to sing this song on Galveston seawall. Her death left me overwhelmed with grief. The next year Hurricane Ike nearly destroyed my home. I have survived and have a deep and abiding faith in God. I have learned to never give up.

I lost him a year ago tomorrow, April 22, 2010 was when he passed. He was my whole world and this last year has been by far the most difficult time in my life. I miss him so much. At my school/church we had this wonderful lady named Mrs. Ghormley. She was a preschool teacher, and later on a leader in our Vacatin Bible School. Everyone loved her very very much, and in the past two years, she had been battling cancer. She frequently broke her arms and she was quickly wheelchair bound. She was also blind in one eye. Still, she helped whenever and however she could. She passed away in 2007. We had a school funeral, and everyone was crying. We still miss her and I cry whenever

Ever since then, I've heard it at every funeral for someone that was close to him, including his son-in-law, my grandfather, who passed away exactly a month ago, and I still cry every time. this song means a lot to me. it was sung at all four of my grandparents funerals. i never met my grandfathers, they passed away before i was born. my nana passed away in front of me with my mom when i was two from a heart attack. my memere passed away october 15th, 2010 at 12 in the morning from a severe case of al zimers and bad knees. when i walked in she couldnt remember my name from the disease. she could remember my dad, her son, once in a while.

I sang this song at my priest's funeral...He touched many people's hearts and was only 44...I started crying in the middle of the song and couldn't go on...We all miss you Father Jamroz Waclaw :'(
This is the most beautiful song with the PERFECT video to compliment it. My mum has just died and I have wathced this several times and cried my eyes out, both of sorrow and joy because I now know she is with the Lord and saviour of us all.
I dearly adore this song, by this singer. I picked this for my Dads funeral in 04. My brother picked the 2nd. Not quite 2 years later we just told them to "do the same as Dads" when another brother was taken, both of cancer-he was 43. If I think of Dad hear this-I'm ok....not so for Kel. Btw-on the way to Dads funeral, we happened to see 4 eagles flying in a circle, above our car.
We sang this at my uncle's funeral 15 years ago and it took me years just to be able to hear it again,. it was so powerful and emotional. This Friday we'll sing it again at my wife's funeral. I'm crying right now just thinking of it. It was one of her favorite songs.

At my school/church we had this wonderful lady named Mrs. Ghormley. She was a preschool teacher, and later on a leader in our Vacatin Bible School. Everyone loved her very very much, and in the past two years, she had been battling cancer. She frequently broke her arms and she was quickly wheelchair bound. She was also blind in one eye. Still, she helped whenever and however she could. She passed away in 2007. We had a school funeral, and everyone was crying. We still miss her and I cry whenever
I feel you buddy. My close greatgrandfather died in '92 when I was 11 years old, not far off from your age. That was the first time I heard this song. Ever since then, I've heard it at every funeral for someone that was close to him, including his son-in-law, my grandfather, who passed away exactly a month ago, and I still cry every time. Keep the memories of your grandma and she will never die in this life. She loves you as you love her.
This song was sung at my son's funeral. He was 21 when he died. Every time my wife and I hear this song, it is almost unbearable. The emotions that we feel when we hear this song can not be explained. The hurt and the pain will never leave us. The death of a loved one is so devastating.

this song means a lot to me. it was sung at all four of my grandparents funerals. i never met my grandfathers, they passed away before i was born. my nana passed away in front of me with my mom when i was two from a heart attack. my memere passed away october 15th, 2010 at 12 in the morning from a severe case of al zimers and bad knees. when i walked in she couldnt remember my name from the disease. she could remember my dad, her son, once in a while.
I took many years before I could sing this song all the way through without crying after I heard it sung at my uncle's funeral. I absolutely love this song. It has such a beautiful and definite message. Tears are welling up right now as I listen to it and write this. So powerful.

When I was a kid, we went to a church that had an amazing priest.He was like another father to me. He taught me a lot about myself and God.This was one of his favorite songs. He passed away 10 years ago, but this song always makes me think of him.Since then, I haven't been able to finish singing the song because I would end up breaking down, crying.Today, I was able to finish the song, even with tears streaming down my face.Thank you for always being there for me.I'll try and talk with you more.
