    😇Who Are Acapella Soul?
Acapella, which translates to ‘in the church style’ in Italian, is a style of music that solely uses vocals. Acapella music is particularly impressive as the vocalists are required to have different skills beyond singing. Instead of the sound of the instruments that typically accompany the vocals, the group mimics the sounds of the absent instruments.
Acapella Soul are an all-male doo-wop group, based in New York, America, that predominantly focuses on soul music of the 1950s and 1960s. Between them, Acapella Soul have over one hundred years of experience. The individual group members have been part of groups such as The Stylistics, The Delfonics, The Persuasions, and more.
Acapella Soul have performed at different venues in the US, but are most popular in New York.
Acapella Soul also participate in New York Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s program called Music Under New York, which allows them to busk in subway stations and bring joy to passers-by with their performance.
Whilst they tend to perform on the streets and in front of these venues, Acapella Soul are also available for hire for private and corporate events, including Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, and Functions.
Acapella Soul have performed covers of hit songs like Stand By Me, Isn’t She Lovely, The Great Pretender, and Lion King’s classic The Lion Sleeps Tonight.
First recorded in 2010, Acapella Soul stand in the streets on Washington Square Park and begin to sing and dance to The Lion Sleeps Tonight. Although there is a lead singer, other members join in with the singing, whilst others hum, click and sing the backing track.
In 2019, Acapella Soul performed a remix of the same song. Again, they sing on the streets, singing, dancing, and clapping to the tune. This time, more of the members join in with the lyrics.
At the end of the video, the crowd shows their support by applauding and whistling. The energy of the performance is electric and they light up the streets with their singing.

🎵🎵【Lyrics of Please Mr. Postman】 By The Marvelettes🎵🎵
    Wait Mister Postman
    Oh yeah
(Is there a letter in your bag for me) Please, Please Mister Postman
(Why's it been a very long time) Oh yeah
(Since I heard from this boyfriend of mine)
There must be some word today
From my boyfriend so far away
Please Mister Postman, look and see
Is there a letter, a letter for me
I've been standin' here waitin' Mister Postman
So patiently, for just a card, or just a letter
Sayin' he's returnin' home to me
Please Mister Postman (Mister Postman, look and see) Oh yeah
(Is there a letter in your bag for me?) Please Please Mister Postman
(Why's it been a very long time) Oh yeah
(Since I heard from this boyfriend of mine)
So many days you passed me by
You saw the tears standin' in my eye
You wouldn't stop to make me feel better
By leavin' me a card or a letter
Please Mister Postman look and see (Postman postman)
Is there a letter oh yeah in your bag for me? (Postman postman)
You know its been so long (Postman postman)
Yes since I heard from this boyfriend of mine (Postman postman)
You better wait a minute, wait a minute
Oh you better wait a minute
Please please Mister Postman (Wait a minute Mister Postman)
Please check and see just one more time for me
You better wait, wait a minute
Wait a minute, wait a minute, wait a minute
    Please Mister Postman
Deliver de letter the sooner de better
Wait a minute, wait a minute
Wait a minute, please Mister Postman
Wait a minute, wait a minute oh oh
