So the baggage storage is past the security. I'm having layover for couple of days. I wanted to leave the bag in the airport, because I have a drone, and I've heard you need to give it away until you leave the country.

No, people do buy Drones from Dubai, i myself brought from here, but you can not fly in the Country without Permission. But there is not harm in carrying it in your bags, so long you do not fly it. Also, please do subscribe to the channel if you can, have a beautiful stay in UAE
