- I finally got my hands on the Epiphone Inspired by Gibson Custom 1961 Les Paul SG. And for an amazing price since Guitar Center is putting a lot of the older Inspired by Gibson line on clearance to make way for the new Inspired by Gibson Custom Shop things. Just got me the latest model 2024 Inspired by Gibson Les Pau/SG custom with three pickups, and open book headstock in alpine white. My only complaint is the satin finish. I prefer a gloss finish, but I still LOVE IT!

I totally love my new SG. I just bought one of the 2020 muse series and it's very very quickly jumping up the ranks as one of my best sounding guitars. Also, if you're someone whose never tried the Peter Green out of phase thing, i can't recommend it more.
The Muse line is cool. I've played a few LPs and SGs and they all have been rock solid, especially for the money.
I can vouch for this one. I bought the red one when it came out. A few months later I bought the white one to keep in a lower tuning. Everything you said was accurate. Great guitar.
The white one is sick, but they only had this one at the time, otherwise I would have gotten that one! I may still get it, who knows. 👀

? What do think the difference is between the Gibson Burstbucker 2 and 3 pickups and the Probucker 2 and 3 pickups? Thank you for your video.
Maybe a little bit of an output difference, Probuckers may sound a bit darker, but otherwise I have always really been impressed with the ProBuckers.
I say I only have one SG, but you're right, it's a Les Paul. 😂 But I absolutely love it and feel like I don't need one with Gibson on the headstock. Mine even came with a flamed Laurel fretboard!
If you wanna get technical...lol. Nice! Always a plus when you get a funky fingerboard!
I have an Epi sg pro with gold hardware and won't replace it until I find a Gibson that out plays it. Yours sounds really good!

Looks like the bridge is a bit further back too.
Normal SG is sometimes very difficult to get along with as your picking hand is a lot nearer the neck compared to traditional guitar setups.
They are strange guitars to get used to, but man it's worth the fight.
The bridge isn't nearer. The neck joins at the end of the body so it isn't farther into body like others
I had one of these and it was REALLY nice. The tuners were rock solid.

They really are. HUGE bang for the buck, and even moreso now what with the higher priced epis coming out. I re-snagged an Epi Lucille especially for the that reason - no telling if they might take some of these sub-$1,000 models, discontinue them, and do new versions at the higher price point.
I picked up one of those for 580.00, i like it.

I had one of these and it developed a broken neck.!!!!! Hardly noticeable apart from when it started to go out of tune.
Man, that's a bummer.
@@Electric.Flamingo it was a tiny hairline crack you had to look with a magnifier to see it.

@@Electric.Flamingo it was because I had it repaired and felt I had to move it on. I didn’t want such a guitar in my collection. At a huge loss.
