I'm thinking the author changed his name from Kane to flare. I just watched the first part and his name was Kane but at the 40 min mark it was changed to flare. I think it's mistranslation errors and this channel is keeping his name as Kane instead of flare. I could be wrong but that's my guess 😅

Aisera has never shown herself as having a serious mode, as she won't miss a lewd moment, even in a serious fight. This shows a glaring flaw that she can easily be manipulated. 2. Despite Flare saving the girls time and time again, the only time she paid him any thanks was when he agreed to leave. This could be to give weight to the thanks, but given he already defeated two angels and kept them safe at this point, this suggests to me that the decision to ask him to leave was out of feeling useless when he's around. While understandable, as the princess' guard, this is rather short-sighted. 3. The Captain never called Aisera her friend. Rather, she said, "I can't ignore the request of a former holy knight." And it is the holy knights out to kiII the princess. With those 3 combined, it is quite easy to surmise that the captain was tasked by other holy knights to retrieve the princess, and she used both her familiarity with Aisera and a few romantic encouragements to make the swordswoman blindly trust her.

There's a few incidents with his powers that seem odd. For instance, ever notice how he can touch people and people can touch him, but nobody gets burned? That suggests to me that whatever demonic magic he used not only gave him a humanoid appearance but an actual physical form.
