@@amytran8357 sadly my clinicals got canceled but I work in child care and I can tell you I use an extra pair of clothes a lot. Hoping it will be the same with animals
A tip for the blue light from screens - turn on the night shift mode! I have it on 24/7... it does make the screen have a yellow tint though, but I personally like the warmer colours haha
I keep a spare pair of socks, and second pair of scrubs with me for the days I have labs 100%! This last week was my first week of the actual vet tech classes, but my teachers advise us to because like you said you never know when you’ll need the extras 😂
I’m going into my junior year of high school and I’m taking a couple courses relating to veterinary medicine for fun over the summer as well as starting as a veterinary assistant soon so I can get some experience so I have loved watching your videos!
It sound amazing. I am about three and a half years away from graduating high school and I really want to be a vet in the future but I have no experience with this career or animals in general other than watching videos. Any idea how I can get some experience?
I feel sad that here in my country we don't have yet f2f classes yet and as a vet 2nd yr vet student, I realized how exciting it would be if I get to walk around with a bag full of vet student essentials
I’m an acting major (pretty much an opposite field lmao) so this was so fun to watch!!! I’ve been thinking about buying a MacBook Air, how do u like yours?
Hi there! this was really interesting and helpful, I am starting vet school at the OVC this fall and have really enjoyed watching your videos! Maybe we'll see each other around :)
That's so exciting!! Honestly, take this time to just relax. I found the first couple months of vet school very overwhelming and I don't really think there was anything I could have done to change that. But given how hectic it was, I'm really glad a took a couple of weeks for myself before school started!
Hope you guys enjoyed this video! Let me know down below one thing that you have to have in your backpack! 😊
I kid you not my clinical bag will have snacks like i cannot go to any job without snacks
I have pair of socks! Haha
@@amytran8357 I have a whole extra pair of clothes
@@roadtodvm2030 Haha! I've actually debated whether or not to keep spare clothes in my bag. How often have you used those extra clothes?

Books?
What topics are you looking for?
@@yourvetamanda i meant that do you have to carry any books(text books or note books) to class or do you have everything in your laptop and ipad
I just take my laptop and ipad! I almost never use textbooks!
