Mr. Russ I think you are right. as I was editing, I was thinking of several other uses that I didn't mention on camera. I think it'll get used more than I originally thought.
Hey Mike, man basket is definitely a handy thing to have. Got a DIY one I made out of a IBC tote, complete with safety chains. Not sure I'm ready for the wife to take the controls while I'm in it. She needs a little more seat time. She does get in it to decorate outside trees at Christmas and pick fruit from our fruit trees. I've found that I use it more than I thought I would. Enjoyed the video.
I've been eyeballing this cage to clean up some trees on my farm and other jobs which requires a big heavy ladder. I hope my wife still cares for my safety.
Ya gotta talk nice when your life is in the wife's hands😅. Good morning, folks. This basket is ideal for what you're doing around the farm. Much better than a ladder for sure.
Yes sir Mr Kenny. She did really good being her first time and she didnt kill me so that was a bonus. Really nice working from a platform than trying to do things off of a ladder. I see several uses for this thing in the future
Awesome to see your wife on the tractor. I used to use it a lot on our on grid property and still do when I have to lift Jason way up in the air so I've gotten used to the controls. It's a bit nerve wracking when you're lifting up a human. Lol. She's doing incredible! ❤
Hey Mr JT. That was where I first seen it. Then I seen it in person one day and it did look better in person than on video. Glad to have it. I'm sure it'll get used for all sorts of things in the future. Thanks for being here sir
Morning mike! What’s the deal with vevor? They kinda sell everything haha. I got a vevor hydraulic pump on my log splitter and it been working great all year. I’ve got some genni Wi-Fi cameras but they are not battery powered. Does the basket have a spot to clip in fall arrest harness? I know it not that high off the ground but that’s just how I was trained at the big tree company. Keep it between the ditches Mike!
Hey Mr Tony. Vevor sells all sorts of things. They have tons of option. Just seen the other day they now have chainsaws lol. The only think I can see on the basket to clip in and it's not technically a "Legal" spot to clip in would be around the handrail or on the headache rack. But no designated clip rail.
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead everything thing I’ve bought vevor brand has been pretty good, even some 1/2 pex I got was vevor. Seem like they have everything lol.
Like the welded nuts on the back. Was there lock/star washers that went on the bolt? I would likely put some thread locker on the. I would loose em in all this rock!
The floor with trimming debris & or moisture will get slick, I put a heavy mesh rubber mat for stable footing. Don't trust hydraulics on a tractor with your life, I use safety stops on the lift cylinders & harness for the curl cylinders. I'm considerably older than you with 0 of my nine lives left. 10 foot fall can end badly
@kendrury3713 hi Mr Ken. Thank you for your input. I could definitely see the floor getting slick with debris. I honestly didnt give the tractor hydraulics much thought. Thank you for bringing it to my attention
Is there any security cameras that are solar powered or have a small solar panel built into the body of the camera so this would become a NON TAMPER CAMERA AND WOULD BE FAR BETTER TOO
Hey Mr John. I know blink has a couple solar options for their cameras. I would like to try some out one day. I'm sure there are some other manufactures that have a solar option as well. Thank you for being here sir
@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead OBTW: I have Vevor's 120/240v Plasma Cutter and it's awesome. Not sure of the long-term reliability, but for the price I could probably buy 4 for what my old 120v Hobart cost (that died). Kind regards
@steveboston6889 that's good to know. I have a cheap Chinese plasma in the shop still in the box. I don't remember what brand it is. I need to get it out and try it. Just haven't had the need for awhile
That will be used a lot more than you imagined now that you have it.
Mr. Russ I think you are right. as I was editing, I was thinking of several other uses that I didn't mention on camera. I think it'll get used more than I originally thought.
I think so! I am picturing all sorts of things I would use it for. Dang, I shoulda got some forks! 😂
Tool carrier is pretty cool idea.
Mr Joe i think it woukd work great for one
Well I think the wife did a great job.
She did. She didn't want to run it but she did fine

@@TheRustyGarageandHomestead lol!! That's always a plus! 🤣
Ever since seeing Brock at RHF use it I've been eyeing that basket.
Looks really handy and only costs around the price of a ladder.

She did fantastic
Great job Momma Rusty! Neat new tool Mike, keep cuttin' brother
She did great. Thank you. This cage is proving to be very useful
Those batteries go bad cause there is so much action on the farm buddy!
Lol, I agree. They would last longer if everything would slow down lol
I wish I had one of those baskets
I think its gonna be very handy to have around. Even thought about picking fruit off the fruit trees with it
Morning Mike
We have blinks also
They seem to do a great job for me.

Hey Matt yes they do have a plug on the backside. I haven't hooked any solar up to them yet
Good Works Tractor channel did a review a while back, Vevor may have made some improvements since: ruclips.net/video/GnHQUQkZl6U/видео.html
