just came over to type soul from deepwoken and man oh man is it making it difficult to learn 😭 the instinct in me makes me parry way earlier when in type soul its more late
you cant train it with hollows every attack has a different parry frames you need to predict which ones comes out and when to parry it, its hard as the sounds cues suck and most of the time ping isnt consistent, just realized how well deepwoken devs did with the sound
Parrying a fishbone wont make you better the best way to get better qt parrying is having your friend use actual moves to parry for hours so gl with that
Yeah, you literally can't be a "parry demon" against certain builds, as the amount of vfx that cover your screen along with the moves hitting more than once don't allow you to smoothly and knowingly parry a move. (Speed is nonsense. If you use Speed, you're the type of player to use a full Mage build on Elden ring and say it was "fun")
Yeah, you need a good amount of knowledge on the game to pull off the crazy combos though. Speed is just suuupperr easy to use ye know?? (I run 15 Hakuda 35 Kido and 15 speed 'cause that's the build I actually like but it bites me in the ass... which brings up a different topic of builds being the reason people win matches and not their skill.
