Am someone that came from a broken family who now has a family that loves me for me and isn’t broken it so hard for me and some days are better than others but I am honestly trying my hardest to change and make things better for them and me and I sometimes wish I didn’t come from a broken family but I know that it was all apart of god’s plan
This song is literally how I feel! I came from a broken home and my husband didn't! His parents have been together for 50 years and going! When I met them I could only hope and pray that I could get that lucky to have the love that they obviously have for each other! Turns out they raised an amazing son who was looking for love not lust! It's almost our 20 years together and 17 years married! I found my true love with him and our kids won't have to live in a broken home! I hope we are setting high standards for our kids!
Hello April 👋 Simple music can make you sing, a simple hug can make you feel better, simple things can make you happy, I hope my simple hello will make you smile.
Congratulations, that’s literally amazing it’s good to know that still exists, from a teenagers perspective who did come from a broken home your kids are gonna be even happier to have such amazing parents being together ❤️❤️
My parents have been married 48 years, my dad's parents were married 55 years, my kids Dad and I married out of college after being highschool sweethearts..he came from a broken home where his mom had been married three times...when the going got rough he found comfort in someone else...my husband now was adopted by loving parents and his ex wife left him for someone else as well...my two kids look up to him as daddy..he has been there through nights they were sick, sporting and school events, doctor appointments, etc. He's the man who didn't have to step up but he did it anyway.
When I met the girl that's now my wife she also came from a broken home. Me on the other hand grew up with both parents. She was always worried I would leave because of how crazy her life was at the time. Now here we are 20 years later with 2 beautiful children. And we love each other more with every passing year. My only wish is we get to grow very old together.
65 years old and I came from a broken home. I always thought that I was going to end up like my parent. Met my husband during my senior year in school, I was dating someone else and he was too. The summer after my senior year, we finally got together. Now 45 yrs later still going strong. We were blessed with 4 babies (two miscarriage) who are now happily married. My son in law was just like me, but now, he found his family, and we love him as he was ours. God always know how your life will end. Thank you God for all your blessings.
Thank you for sharing this with us. Love Triangle came out close to when my parents got divorced n I needed something n someone to relate to. I was in high school at the time and our stories aren’t the same but that song helped me a lot. Ever since then I’ve been scared of the exact same things this song ponders on. It beautiful to see that there are stories out there where it works out. Where flowers bloom in the cracks; where light comes from darkness. It’s just so reassuring that just because it didn’t work out for our parents doesn’t mean we’re doomed to the same fate. Just like the first time I heard Love Triangle, I’m crying listening to Broken One because I can so deeply relate to the fear of not being a good enough home for a future partner. RaeLynn, thank you for sharing a piece of your heart. It’s helping my heart know that stories don’t always have to repeat the one that came before it!💛
This is such a powerful song. Really resonates with me. My dad left when I was very young. My husband has very much been there and shown me what a great man and father can be. Thank you for this. I ugly cried 🤍🥹😭
Wow what a amazing song. I have tears just rolling down my face. I'm glad others are lucky to have that when some of grew up not seeing our parents have that. I grew up in a broken home as well. But thank God for my gentle husband he makes all the difference ❤
This video still makes me tear up. My daughter is almost the same age as Daisy and I want her to grow up without having to pick sides. Keep up the great music. ❤
Am i the only one who likes that not so much people know about her?. Its like shes my safe haven. And I am proud to be one of her fan. 🥰😍😘 and I dont want any disrespectful people here. Only love for you Rae 💓
This is such a beautiful song. Once again, you are telling my story. My babies have not had to live in a broken home like I did, nor chose sides. They have both Mommy and Daddy in the same home. Thank you RaeLynn for your music.
Hey RaeLynn, (and everyone else reading this) I can relate to this song so much, just like Love Triangle. My parents split up when I was 5, it wasn't going well before that. However I'm not going into detail here. I will share that at a young age this is not good for children. It makes it tough for them to connect and grow up properly. However, healing happens in time and there's good men and women out there. I'm sure you and your husband will be great parents for your daughter. I hope for that someday too. Anyway great song. God bless!
Please Raelynn put this on a CD , this like most is one of your greatest pieces of art! Your music are musical paintings in lyric and song, painted on canvas by your great voice.
I grew up with both Mom and Dad. They're still together. My heart truly goes out to all those kids who had to grow up living with their parents mistakes and picking sides. I hope all of you find true love and build strong families. 💜
Yay!!!! 🎉🎉! Thank you for releasing this Raelynn! I’ve been a fan of yours since God made girls and a lot of your songs are so relatable to me. Thank you! Keep up the great music!
Literal goosebumps as I watched this! Your music on this subject has been what I've held close through my parent's divorce. Thank you for such an amazing 👏 song 👏!!!!!! 💕💕💕
I really, really appreciate (as I hope we all do) -- The fact that she makes videos that matches the songs story. I like how she started the video with a fade out of "Love Triangle" -- Which obviously at this point, this song is love triangle part 2. Nice Job RaeLynn!
This needs to be blown up!! Really brought me to tears. Coming from a broken home having two little girls under 6 with the most supportive husband ever!! Love u raelynn an u touch me the most!!
Just wow. I knew you were gonna reach next level and now you're there. You are officially my favorite country singer and I'm a 46 year old geezer lol. Best of the best.
Hello Amanda 👋 Simple music can make you sing, a simple hug can make you feel better, simple things can make you happy, I hope my simple hello will make you smile.
This song is my life. I cried the entire song because it resonates with me so much. My parents divorced when I was 4 and I was tossed between houses and chaos. So thankful my 2 children don’t have to grow up like that. They have stability and a happy, healthy, loving home. They’re so blessed and they have no idea. Thank you for coming out with this beautiful song. ♥️♥️♥️
Hello Katie 👋 Simple music can make you sing, a simple hug can make you feel better, simple things can make you happy, I hope my simple hello will make you smile.
With a song gets you in your feels. This one got me. My kids are from a broken home. They have two homes they split their time between, but thank goodness they have never had to pick a side. Co parenting doesn't work for everyone, but I am proud to say that we have made it work. We didn't work out as husband and wife, but we do work out as co parents to our two kids. They know this, they know they are loved beyond measure, that they will always be the number one priority. We get along(probably better than we did when married), we can even do things together with the kids without any awkwardness. Sometimes a broken home is better than staying together when things aren't good. This one gets me though, it makes me wonder if this is how my kids will think about themselves one day. ❤️💔
My parents have been married for 21 years. I’m 20. My husbands parents have been married for like 30 or more years. I still turn this on full blast and get teary eyed. I can feel the emotions and I’m so glad I never had to know. Both of my parents came from broken homes. They promised we’d never have to know, and now my baby will never have to know. ❤️
Omg I so wanted this for my children. Dad and I both came from broken homes. And I never wanted that for them. But. He left. And they had a 3rd generation broken home. My boys found love. Their loves also have broken homes. They love each other dearly…. I hope they make it. More than a mommas tears can say. I hope they are happy and make it 50+ years.
Got to be the most exciting singer out there today. Love the voice, the songs and how you connect with people. Always going to be at the top of my playlist 👌😊
This lady is one of a kind! What a beautiful, touching song! I love this for you, RaeLynn, that you get to have this family and this love. I relate so strongly to so much of your music. You always address topics with grace and I admire you so much. Thank you for another beautiful song. 🥰
Absolutely perfect. My parents divorced when I was 17. It was an ugly marriage and an even uglier split. I know growing up in that has definitely affected how I know and treat love, and I don’t want my husband to become jaded by it the way I am.
Wow, will be finding more of your songs. First time hearing you and now I found music I can let my kids listen with me like I used to listen with my parents to Randy Travis.
My husband and i both came from broken homes, he put me through hell, im still trying so hard to give my son something to look up to, we are trying to make it work. Maybe we can, if we fight hard enough, we can show our son, that if you try hard enough you really can make it work.
I'm too young to rlly experience real love but this really hit home as a kid whose parents split up when I was born and I always wonder if it's my fault that my dad relapsed but other days, I say it was his choice and his only to not want to love his kids. My mom found my stepdad and I hope their love last forever bc he's the only dad I've ever known.
My parents are divorced and my boyfriends parents are still married. We’ve been dating for almost 2 and a half years and we look at love so different. He thinks love is effortless and lasts forever and is pure. However, I’ve seen how messy things can get. That it makes me feel like I have to work harder to keep what I have and it’s exhausting sometimes.
This really hits a sore spot. I grew up with separated parents, never once had they been in a room without arguing. I'd gone between them since I could remember. I hated sleepovers with my friends because they had both their parents and I always lived with jealousy at seeing families together. I've gotten over it now, but it does still hurt.
Definitely did not expect to have a good cry whilst watching this. Damn, it’s like this song was written for me and my little sister, who recently had a baby with her wonderful husband. Thank you for this!
Hello Angie 👋 Simple music can make you sing, a simple hug can make you feel better, simple things can make you happy, I hope my simple hello will make you smile.
This is beautiful. No one really talks about how hard it is to grow up to find healthy love when you've never seen it before.
Growing up thinking I’m always gonna be a broken person I’m now happy.. no better feeling.
I seen it but was never shown it…that’s a whole other ballgame 😢
yes so true!
Am someone that came from a broken family who now has a family that loves me for me and isn’t broken it so hard for me and some days are better than others but I am honestly trying my hardest to change and make things better for them and me and I sometimes wish I didn’t come from a broken family but I know that it was all apart of god’s plan

I don't understand why this song doesn't have more views. It's so good and relatable for kids who grew up this way.

Well, I came from a broken home, and then my Three Sons Did, and so did My Twin Grandsons. A whole lot of pain that became generational. 😢😢😢😕
Gosh this hits home. I pray for a man like that one day. You deserve it girl.
Broken homes needs to be fixed not broken forgiveness love unconditionally no matter what ❤❤❤❤
What a lovely lady, a daughter , a hasbend, a family ! Every song is a treasure.
I can tell this one was a hard one for her to film. It's written all over her face. 💔
Smiles, hi Jessi 🌺😊

i see you love - none of it is your fault - praying for you and your family
Love this Song❤️.
