You know it was a good take when my glasses, hat and earbuds were all just about falling off my head by the end of it. :D
MysticGuitar77 you and I both head banged hard at 3:05! Love the cover, tone and accuracy were intense! Keep up the great work and love checking out your videos when they drop!
Yes Nonpoint! I've been listening to them lately!
Fuckin killed it bro! As always! Keep it up!
MysticGuitar77 oh absolutely... anyone who argues wood doesn’t make a diff is clueless. I have played bass and guitar for 30 yrs and have 12 guitars/basses... I’ve tried EVERYTHING and for metal, the EMG 81 is still really hard to beat. EMG bass pickups are the shit too. Bass neck and body construction is even more crucial because the amp does less, and you are playing mostly individual notes, not chords or palm muting. You’re a fantastic rhythm player though for sure. Great ear too!! 🤘
@@bdabassman Thanks man!
As a bass player that picks up the 6 string on occasion, harmonics are not the easiest to play at a fast pace...I APPRECIATE YOU..ROCK ON!!!!!
Thanks!
That first Nonpoint album "Statement" is extremely good from start to finish. Great cover!
This is technically their 3rd album but I agree lol.
Damn, what a great cover! Love the tone, man. It sounds heavy and clean at the same time. Well done!
Sick song! Cover the rest of this album \m/
This song absolutely rocks
listened to this song for the first Time today... goddamit, what a hell of a song!
Harmonics!! 🎸🔥
That absolutly fukin rocked
Andrew Goldman,
Andrew Goldman was the fucking man, a crucial part of Nonpoint's sound and success. Nothing has been the same since he left the band. Dave Lizzio was a nice songwriter and BC is technial and all but no one compares to Drew. Anyways I still hope the best for the band. Great cover man ;)
I agree. Andrew was the most creative and original player Nonpoint had. They don't sound like classic Nonpoint without him. I liked Dave a lot though and felt he was the closest to being like Andrew. I would have liked to have seen Dave and BC in Nonpoint together. Dave's riff writing combined with BC's lead playing would have been something special and both are superior players and better songwriters than Rasheed. No offense to Rasheed, I just don't think his playing suits Nonpoint's sound as much as Dave's did.
love this song man, excelente cover!!
Awesome work 🎸
Thanks!
Nice man! If you could, cover "circles" from their album "development."
I definitely need to do that one, yes.
Man your harmonics were super clean!! I havent looked in your catalogue of vids but could you do a rig rundown sometime.
I have an old rig rundown but yeah, I have to make an updated one. That's one of the things I plan on doing once I reach 10k subscribers.
Awesome job. 👌🏻
buen guitarr saludos
Dude that was tight... Well played sir 🤘🤘🤘
Thanks man!
BTW - all your covers are amazing but this Schecter is the best sounding of all your guitars... what pickups are in it? Are they EMGs? Sick tone yet so smooth. 🤘
@@bdabassman Yeah, EMG 81/89's. Same as my red Schecter. In fact, they're identical, the only difference between the two are the woods used for the neck. This one has a maple/walnut neck and it totally changes the way it sounds. This one is more brighter sounding and has more bite, the red one is darker and warmer sounding. And people say tonewood is a myth, not in my experience. The wood definitely plays a part in the way an electric guitar resonates and sounds.
I checked your chevelle vids too... 💯💯
I don’t do many but here’s Face to the Floor from 2012? 🤘

Hi dude!Nice,nice,nice
Thanks!
🤘 More off Statement!
Plan to!
Awesome song awesome cover! Have you heard veil of maya's album false idol? That whole album has been on repeat for weeks... I think you would dig it if you haven't already heard it! Anyway keep up the good work I think I'm gonna learn this one tonight! Thanks!
Haven't really listened to those guys, will have to check em out!
Hey dude I know you probably get asked this like everyday but I would love for you to do a song man I have been watching your videos a couple of years now and have learned to play a lot of songs watchin them I like watching them all during the week and then on the weekend trying to pick some of them out but anyway can you do 10 years picture perfect I haven't seen a video for it and has always been one of my favorites
I feel like I've done that song already... maybe not though. I'm at that point where I'm losing track of my own stuff now. It could've easily been some other 10 Years song, idk. In any case, I'll add it to the list lol
@@MysticGuitar77 yeah I know you got a couple from that album I just never seen it out if you did but I appreciate it
Tuning??
Drop C
I broke my knuckle in a fight yesterday. I’m in a splint and I hate it.
That blows. Did you win at least?
Hell yeah
Then look at the bright side; you could've broke your knuckle and lost but you broke your knuckle and won. That and you've probably got a good story to tell for the rest of your life. Been there, done that. Sucks now but you'll laugh later about it. :D
MysticGuitar77 thanks man
