Hi from Arkansas. In this latest thrift trip video, you mentioned a couple of brands that sell well for you and the sizes you found. When I check comps on eBay for the Madewell jeans, the perfect vintage that you mentioned in the size 25- I am perplexed. I don’t ever pick up size 25 anymore. And I just don’t see them going for 40-50 preowned. The Eileen Fisher shirt in a size small that you are going to hopefully get $50 for. I have stopped purchasing Eileen Fisher size extra small and small altogether. The only sizes that seem to move for me are the larger sizes and when the piece is more substantial. I enjoy watching your videos and the types of brands that you were able to source in your area of the country. But I often scratch my head about the types of money that you’re able to get for these items.
Love that Floreat burn out velvet piece! Learned about Cozy Earth and some other brands. Those Reiss pants were a great find! I sold a dress from them on Posh….was listed for a long minute but still it did sell. Found in the clearance section at the thrift. Woo hoo. Great haul Becca. Those Kate Spade shoes must have been owned by someone with a new puppy!
Great finds. I am in Houston I thrift nearly ever day, the thrift stores here in my opinion don’t stock a lot in the summer. I don’t thrift the Goodwill just don’t like them here. When we go on the road we thrift a lot of goodwills. I sell a lot of hard goods. About 2 years ago I started clothing and shoes. I love these types of videos on your channel because I lean a lot about brands. ❤❤
There is an AYR striped button down that Oprah wore and said it was one of her favorites so look out for that one too! The stripes are vertical and then change to horizontal for the pocket. The burnout blue velvet is gorgeous!
that is a great haul! i was just in your neck of the woods on vacay from Cali and hit up a ton of gw's and this store was by far the best one i came across! Definitely thought of you and if i'd see you out there at the bins or the gw. lol.
When I see busted up items like the dansko and Kate spade shoes, I take them to the front and tell them to toss them. Sometimes the processing folks miss stuff
I have done that too! Last time I did it was to show them a Patagonia piece covered in holes, I found the top back out on the floor in the next few days. So frustrating!
Too many people “in the game” now due to video’s like these and shows like American Pickers. It is what it is, and I will continue to change and adapt. Been doing this since I was 20, for over 15 years, I’m an expert at this point, especially with high end, with an eye you can’t learn no matter how many videos you watch..but it’s not as fun for me anymore and much harder now since so saturated so I’m excited to be changing careers, cream always rises to top!
You make it sound like you were the only one "in the game," lol! People have been reselling since the beginning of time. If you're a self-proclaimed expert, then you should have no problem selling and making plenty of profit since the rest of us peasants don't have an eye for quality because we watch yt videos 😂

I was simply making a valid point with modern resources-there are a lot more players-not all good at it, and thrift stores prices rise. I’m okay with it. An observation. Things change. Of course I’ll continue to make money with my eye, in multiple ways. It did use to be more rare to be a picker than today, by far! Good luck with reselling. 👍🎉
