Man Jonathan, she's got 70s street machine written all over her. The wheels look good on her and worth a good cleaning and paint if you got all 4. 1 Hell of a find!

Nice, I like it. Takes me back to my 1st real job getting taxes taken out. I was doing maintenance work on a small resort. I drove around in a late 40's, I believe, GMC, maybe, panel wagon. 6 cylinder, 3 on three tree and a milk crate to sit on. Thanks for sharing.

I can hear the rap of the Fenton dual manifold with twice pipes. They're making water pump conversions for the later 235 to go in the early cars. A few outfits are making full pressure conversions for the "Babbitt Beater" engines. What fun. I had a '54 sedan delivery years ago. It was set up for camping.

  • @morgansword

Watching you clean up the mess reminded me of a tow you did recently where the drunk trash truck driver had left you more work than the tow was worth. Because that looks like it has a decent top that could be grafted on to another one but that would be a labor of love... did get a kick out of those fender vents that pushed warm air into the cab on the drivers side. I remember those kind of seats but never knew they went that far back... more like mid fifties seats. You will probably laugh at me but that camper project you have planed I have even had dreams about it, built ten different ways in my head... like a stove/sink in truck (small) and a fold out bench/bed in center an maybe another one that is right size clear to the back an some kind of little table for meals to the side door entry way. Enough of my input cause I ain't paying the bills on this amazing project but I wish I was young enough to still do this. Good video an don't listen to my gibberish. I sure enjoy the things that U do!!!

You think maybe a bag of something was left on that hood to rust it through like that especially since though valve cover too. It would be awesome to have old logo still under that paint.

If you ever see a car in a garage or something with anything stacked on it, children's toys, household items, that lets you know, that car is never going to be fixed up, restored, etc. Might as well make them an offer.

hey jonathan, my dads 50 chevy styleline has the same wheels. they are called "drag mags". made in the late 50s or early 60s i believe. they dont have a very safe looking bead on them, so radials might not work without a tube. his 50 chevy is also about that rusty haha.

Maybe it is a rare Sedan Delivery with the optional polyester plastic rear fenders!
That is a pretty tired car. Still cool though.
The contents of the inside building should be interesting, along with seeing the good car better.
    Thanks.

Those overloaders are not stock, and it looks like it has a 55-57 rear swapped in if its open drivetrain. Those buckets look like the originals. Those only came with one bucket standard, and the 2nd one was an option.
I am in the rustbelt and even with all that bondo, I would build that in a second. EMS makes half quarters, rockers, and more for that car.

I don't know what you paid for the car, but if the grill is straight, not pitted could be polished out or re-chromed, it's worth what you paid for the car most likely. I've owned 4 53 and 54 Chevy Belair's. A repop cost, at the time, 1,499 bucks. I hear that now they are around 2,000 bucks. A good used original cost me 850 bucks. And I got lucky when I found it. And that was 9 years ago. I've seen just the centerpiece go for 300 bucks. If the grill is straight, you scored.

Back I the mid 70's my Mom slid her car in a ditch during a snow storm. 2 guys stopped and pushed he out, told her, the car has no weight in the rear end, so they threw 2- 50# bags of rock salt in her 1968chevell Malibu. Of course the trunk seal leaked. 2 years later the muffler fell off, she drove to her mechanic, he opened the trunk, there was nothing left, frame rusted threw, never got a new muffler, just a bill to tow her car to a junk yard. Times have changed, I don't think you loose money on a SS396 Bucket seat console Chevelle , anymore
