Leicester kicked over 40 times in this game, averaging 36 in the regular season, because if you try to outmuscle saracens they will find a way through your tired defence. Leicester conceded 0 tries because of it. They won by pouncing on mistakes and then clever preparation. Saracens forced to play Leicester way and they almost won. But cometh the hour, Burns was there to take advantage of the last kicking ping pong. Borthwick is a genius. He adapts even when so much is on the line and he makes huge calls. Nadolo not even in the 23 shows that. Saracens players at the end look puzzled because it’s as if they’ve woken up going; ‘when did we start playing our rugby?’ Tigers relied on planning with a dash of magic, and that slot at the end was magic. Burns; now a Tigers titan for life. And for us fans? Watching the literal translation of redemption.

Leicester forced Saracens into playing their way, and it worked. Saracens style is hard, aggressive rugby with lots of hard lines and inside balls. They also like to fling it around a bit in the backline and kick for territory. Had Leicester allowed them to have the game their own way, it would've been a demolition job, but they didn't. Tigers deservedly won that. What a credit to Leicester those players (especially Ben Youngs and Burns) are.

the RFU have apologised to Saracens for the yellow card saying it should have been a penalty try to them and that it will not happen again. I did feel sorry though for Saracens as Earl was going to beat Leicester on his own but was let down by his team mates and Referee. A red card all season is a yellow in the Final because the player was wearing Black. It is the only reason I can see. Not a fan of either team by the way just anti play offs

  • @alanb9443
    @alanb9443 2 года назад +42

Saracens played far too negatively imo. Both teams clearly where going with a kicking strategy, and in that area saracens and Leicester were clearly on equal footing as shown by the close score. However I feel the saracens back had the advtange over Leicester and when they started running with pace and with farrell picking some great balls they looked dangerous. But clearly the decided strategy was kicking and they just stuck with it too their disadvantage. I feel this is something wrong with English teams their too reliant on coaches to dictate strategy as opposed to seeing what’s on the field. Leicester on the other hand we’re quite content with the continuing kicking game were they could go toe to toe with sarries and eventually come out on top.

@@linalmeemow it is to us hard core rugby fans. But no way you will grow the game with this sort of style usually coming out on top 9 times of 10 against teams who attack from everywhere and chuck the ball about. Its sad as you want to really encourage that kind of rugby, but teams literally cannot play that way against this style. Its the anti rugby, as much as I still love watching sarries and Leicester play. Everyone has to copy this style if they want sustained success. I've tried to show many friends rugby games and get them into it and they just can't handle the tactical kicking and defensive strangulation. I do understand where non rugby fans are coming from. Need to keep trying to encourage positive rugby in the laws. But not sure how you do it. Its very important to have different styles, but this is like playing elden ring and one class is completely op compared to all others. So you are kind of stupid if you choose to play one type. Even if it does look nice. Sad reality of rugby at the moment. Even my own club team are now transitioning away from the rugby that I love, to try and have a more forwards muscle orientated game. Gutted tbh. But know it will win us more games in the prem.

Excellent performance from Tigers in a real armwrestle of a game. That said, Saracens should have been a man down for 55 minutes of this game, how the Davies yellow card wasn't a red is a mystery - direct head contact with force like that and no mitigation has been a red card offence for at least a couple of seasons now, Barnes bottled the call here. He who has ears, let him hear
Jesus is coming back a lot of people have been ignoring the warnings since 2020 and the only person you’re hurting by doing that is yourself and you’re family
God is doing so much and has done so much for you to wake up and understand the times and season you’re living in so you can repent and be saved
it’s like the days of noah. God sending his servants in love because God loves you to warn you before judgment comes and yes of course human nature
Human beings ignoring God just like the days Noah mockers and scoffers laughing at the preaching of the word
scoffing at the preachers and persecuting those that come in love and share in love
scoffing at the word of God and all this scoffing and mocking even after all that you’ve seen since 2020 and have experienced
Yet everyday life continuing people oblivious to the coming judgement upon this world like the days of noah and ignoring everything that they’ve seen and are seeing
ignoring the fact that there’s a war happening in Ukraine which could potentially lead to nuclear war also ignoring the fact that Israel is about to go to war with Iran and China is about to go to war with Twain
Ignoring the fact that food prices are rising aswell as fuel prices there’s talks of worldwide famines by 2023 new diseases monkeypox after we just had a virus cause havoc on this world for two years and now we have a new one
yet people are choosing to ignore all this signs when the bible told you that this would happen in the last days
A time prophesied by Jesus - a time worser then anything that’s happened in this world yet you can still be saved out of that time and out of the tribulation and it’s only through Jesus that you can be saved from the wrath to come and from hell and from eternal Separation from God because of you’re sins for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus
you’re in the middle of a spiritual warfare light - against -darkness and you have no idea how great or wicked that darkness is nor what that darkness is doing or planning for you
the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back to judge this world and to put everything right
God’s will is for all to be saved and for none to perish but time is running out this is not the time to be running away from God but rather to God and for my brothers and sisters in Christ
my fellow Christians don’t play church you’re either with Christ or you’re not beloved. Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
you’re either in the light or in the darkness you’re either on Gods side or Satan’s side beloved Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them.
Beloved You have to pick up you’re cross and follow Jesus and deny yourself daily and crucify your flesh daily and be holy because God is holy offer you’re body as a living sacrifice holy and pleasing unto God beloved strive i repeat strive ! to enter through the narrow gate for many will try but will not be able too
This message is shared out of love to everyone so you can be saved
So Repent and give you’re life to Jesus accept him as you’re Lord and saviour and receive forgiveness and salvation through Christ Jesus
    Acts 4.12
And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved
    John 14:6
