Fun fact: The cherub (winged mecha-babies) cries were done by ZoranTheBear, the same dude that voices Leman Russ. He can do that sound on demand. Alfabusa himself called it "disturbing" to hear.
Here’s the chronological placement of the podcasts: Podcast 0: right after Episode 25. Podcast 1: right after that Podcast 2: right after that again Podcast 3: right after episode 27
1:30 Yeah, he broke Magnus' spine, they've brought this up a few times. 2:15 This is not a canon argument, it is agreed of by the whole 40k community, Konrad Kurze, Primarch of the eighth legion, as known as the Night Lords, actually did die to a mortal, he was killed by a member of the Officio Assassinorum, he was actually kinda insane by that point, he'd been going crazy for decades during the Great Crusade thanks to his psychic powers of Premonitions, only Sanguinius, the primarch of the ninth legion, or Blood Angels, and Kurze's little brother, you can see how Sanguinius is the younger brother, had the same powers. Kurze survived the Horus Heresy, but ended up being cryo frozen and was found by some random freighter crew, Kurze had lost his final marbles and killed all but one member of the crew so he could bring him somewhere, where he waited for the assassin to kill him. 4:01 The petulant man-child of the primarchs, and Primarch of the 4th legion, aka, Iron Warriors, he's a daemon primarch now, Chaos Undivided. 4:07 Imperial Fists mobile fortress monastery, it's a station the size of a planetoid and is in orbit of Terra. 4:08 Cherubim 6:52 Because it is heretical, the first one could have worked just as well, that's what happens when the Mechanicum bans innovation. 11:03 Reference to how the Iron Warriors are siege experts, Perturabo was basically another Dorn, but Dorn was better. 12:10 Kitten, your relationship with Shadowsun is totally canon, Lockwarden has just confirmed it for us. 13:37 HE HAS BEEN CORRUPTED BY THE STRIP-STODES, the only difference being he can't take his armor off since it functions as his life support/sarcophagus. 15:51 Lockwarden is just wondering why Shadowsun broke up with Kitten even though he is super buff and tan underneath his armor. 20:46 I hope you reacted to Short 8, because that's why Kitten and Magnus were gone for years when Magnus thought he was gone for a month, travelling in the warp without a gellar field, time is different in the warp than in realspace. An example was during the Great Crusade, Lorgar of the Word Bearers sent a couple thousand space marines into the Eye of Terror, they thought they were gone for several months, but Lorgar said they had been gone for moments. 23:05 Grox are basically the cows of Warhammer 40k, since cows themselves are probably extinct now, they are basically 5 meter long(not factoring in the tail) lizard cows, they are also pretty aggressive. 24:22 Basically Chess, since the crime for killing a royal is known as regicide, and the point of Chess is to take out the king. 30:37 That's where Horus got promoted to Warmaster, also apparently an ENTIRE CONTINENT was flattened so that a big highway could be built for the Triumph of Ullanor, 100,000 Astartes were at the Triumph, as well as Titan Legions, and 8 million army troopers. 14 legions were there, 9 of which had their Primarchs attending, those were Fulgrim, of the Emperor's Children, Jaghatai Khan of the White Scars, Rogal Dorn of the Imperial Fists, Sanguinius of the Blood Angels, Angron of the World Eaters, Mortarion of the Death Guard, Magnus of the Thousand Sons, Horus of the Luna Wolves, and Lorgar of the Word Bearers.
You all prolly dont give a shit but does anyone know of a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would appreciate any assistance you can offer me.
36:37. "Yes, really. This man, who has the baritone of an actual fucking bear, can perfectly imitate the crying of an infant, and it is HORRIFYING." Love that bit.
Been catching up with your reactions to this series the last two days and happy to see the latest episode has just been uploaded. Surprised there aren't more reactions to TTS. New sub earned. Much love from West Yorkshire Uk
Fun fact, the guy they have voicing Leman Russ is also the guy who does the cherub baby sounds. Everyone who has heard him do that has agreed that it's horrifying to see a man with such a deep voice wail like a babe so accurately.
The flying babies are cherubim. They are vat grown baby servitors that carry incense because somebody saw a cherub painting and though "yeah, imma make that..now where are the baby vats?"
Big Green IS cannon, it IS on that page on the book Also, fun fact about The Beast’s battle fortress: it was big enough that it could house multiple Morkanauts and Gorkanauts... which are giant mechs... but like... 40k’s definition of “giant mech”... and the battle fortress still had enough space to let them move around. So yeah it was *BIG*
before u do episode 28 can u do the tabletop special, there is a story element in it needed to understand a part of episode 28? also the bit where the guy said, "what was she thinking" was him trying to figure out why Kitten's Tau girlfriend (the thing he constantly referrers to as being non-cannon) dumped him
@@malcomalexander9437 Depends on how you see power. For example you can easily say he is weaker than the Emperor because he can't fart out a warp storm. However you can say he is stronger than the Emperor because what nearly killed the Emperor would only annoy the Slayer.
@@wrath2501 I mean the Emperor as he is now is an immobile half dead corpse being kept alive, Doomslayer is a human shaped violence tornado who will protect people from Demons(and would probably have a bunch of Orks following him and viewing him as their Warboss). The Emperor in his prime would be a much cooler fight
Hey Wrath2501, if u can please react to Antoine Delak’s video called Demo Mesa. I would be appreciated if u gonna make this video and i will laugh again. Thank you :)
Hey Wrath, don't forget spinoffs because they are really funny too and they actually makes you understand some events that occured during these main episodes
The Beast was a colossal Ork so big and covered in armor he was mistaken for a giant statue. For reference, he was described as being as tall as a Warhound Titan, which is around 50 feet tall, give or take depending on the model, and Vulkan, the physically largest Primarch, is around 10 feet tall, with or without his armor. So Vulkan literally wrestled a giant gorilla 5 times his size to a stalemate that only ended with him slamming them into a an Ork reactor hard enough to make it explode. As an aside, The Beast is a bit of a title shared by the... seven(?) giant fucking Ork Warbosses that were leading the WAAAGH!!! from Ullanor at that time. These were referred to as the Prime Orks as an obvious play on the Primarchs, but a common theory is that The Beast(s) were Orks on the cusp of evolving back into the Krorks, which... Well, let's just say the Orks are a shadow of their former selve. Most of the Krorks were slaughtered by the Enslavers after the War in Heaven, and the Eldar(supposedly) turned the survivors against one another, causing the Krork to lose their military cohesion, and with the Necrons sleeping and the Eldar deliberately avoiding fighting them, the Orks lost out on the conflict they needed to maintain their full strength, so they degenerated into the barbaric bar brawlers we know and love today. Except now there's more stuff to fight than ever, and the Ork Warbosses are reclaiming the lost heritage tucked away in their genes. Baldermort's Guide to Warhammer covers a lot of it in his Ork/Krork video(ruclips.net/video/Cmyp78wjA4M/видео.html), although he does so with a heavy bias for the sake of theatrics.
Got an idea, Warhammer Wednesday. Also got an idea for the first of these videos, ASTARTES, parts 1 through 5, the whole thing would take around 12 to 15 minutes, and one guy made it, and it is beautiful, it also shows how badass the space marines are compared to mortals. EDIT: BEHEMOTH PART 3 IS NOW OUT AS OF APRIL 25TH!!!!
The custodes not being able to read is a joke from the podcasts. Like I said before, there are things from there that are referenced in these episodes that you are gonna miss

I found it to be a marvellous series of novels, though it certainly had its ups and downs, particularly in character consistency - in one book Vangorich outplays everyone and is basically the most powerful person on Terra in terms of information, and then he spends the next book being outplayed by everyone instead. I loved the Iron Warriors character though, and liked the series as a whole due to the fact that it showed what a threat Orks could be, which was refreshing given how much Games Workshop loves to declare their inferiority compared to Chaos out of sheer favouritism. It also gave me an excellent insight into a possible aspect of the Orks - that they are programmed to imitate the dominant race in the galaxy. Thus their Attack Moons could be seen as versions of Necron World Engines and Eldar Craftworlds, and imagine those engaged in large-scale fleet battles during the ancient war. More specifically, the 'Prime Orks', Nobz, Mega-Armoured Orks and major clans which are all implied to have been created during the War of the Beast would fit perfectly as an imitation of the Great Crusade. Yes, but not only Wrath will have to react to special 6, but also special 3 as well.
And I'm suggesting he should reacts to shorts 4-8.
@@ianfontanet4230 the one short i want to see him react to mainly is unsubtle criticism as thats the best one in my opinion
Yes it's quite important.
The most impressive thing in this episode was the cloaked dude back-handing a Custodes with like ZERO effort
Remember, Leman Russ ACTUALLY did completely break Magnus’s spine to dust before Magnus truly fell to ZTEENCH

The thing with the spine relates to leman Russ, aka wolf guy in the warp, burning magnus homeworld and, apperantly, breaking magnus back, bane style.

They have some nice laughs, character development and 40k lore discussions.

The war of the beast was really bad writing
I found it to be a marvellous series of novels, though it certainly had its ups and downs, particularly in character consistency - in one book Vangorich outplays everyone and is basically the most powerful person on Terra in terms of information, and then he spends the next book being outplayed by everyone instead. That is the kind of thing one expects from having different writers on a series, however. That would explain the sorry state of the current Orks as well - they are imitating the decayed Imperium.
The Harlequin sequence in Throneworld however? That was utter garbage.
