Incidentally, I saw The Who in '75 along with my brother and our neighborhood buddies - a couple of times during the concert they turned on these HUGE floodlights, Roger tossing the mic way in the air, Pete's right arm windmilling like crazy. It was awesome all the way around.
Went to school with RD, JE & PT, recall Roger D being pissed and running round the playing field John E even came round my house many times as he was my brothers best friend, and I was totally unaware who he was at the time,and what was to come. Brilliant band, brilliant blokes, such a shame music lacks the creativity of that time. Perhaps youngsters should see that opportunity gap in the market, and replicate it today?

I saw them live in Berlin the 12th of July 2006 with a dear friend of mine, they were amazing - i was blown away. Luckily they released that whole tour on dvd and cd so I can revisit that night. Long live The Who!
