Land Rover Defenders, simply in a class of their own! A design that was engineered 60 odd years ago, still so capable, even compared with todays off road vehicles...
Just proves that you don't need a fancy 4x4 with Extreme suspension colours to be able to drive off road...when a stock 110 will do it fine with skinny tyres.
Is there Gold in that area your wheeling in? I was watching someone else's channel,(sorry) And he was driving over rounded golf ball sized quartz rocks in a dry or seasonal creek bed. Just curious..Love these videos My 94 range rover gets it's LT 230 tomorrow. the johnny jointed rear arms give me great and very smooth unbinding articulation now. Skid plates sliders and 9000 winch. With the locking center diff I will be making my own videos. In about 20 more years I may be as good as your awesome drivers..Keep the videos coming they are fantastic. great fun and learning tool for even the experienced offroader..thanks
How is possibile to face those obstacles without differentials lock ? Why the first elaboration is not differentials lock for everybody? I think is dangerous for them and for the wool group, because every moment they can stuck or break...(I wrote a moment before the Toyota Toyota really broke...) Can you explain us ?
I drive a 300tdi and have sheered my right rear half shaft on something not nearly as hard-core what you guys do. What axle upgrades have you made on the green Defender and the td5 from your previous videos? Both also sound as if they had their engines tuned?
Stock axles definitely are a weak point if going larger tyres or lockers. Both vehicles are running Hy-Tuff axles. Another good option is Ashcroft axles. For extreme stuff Ashcroft Transmissions can make 300m shafts. Just keep in mind with stronger axles you simply move the weak point somewhere else.
@@arnavphuke9688 i noticed many questions on many videos. Ill try anseer them all. The engine swap was done many years ago. The v8 is fun but the diesel is more effective for crawling imho
A m asking too much questions to u b/c I m building an offraod vehicle here in India Based on local suv Tata Safari 3.0 with a modified body I will share all info with you I always get inspired by the green Landy and thus trying to settle my Tata in the way you did About the coilovers ,many of them are expensive than the vehicle Can you help me finding one of the cheap ones
Why bust your rig when there is anymore easier path to your left. One point there I thought the Toyota was going to rip his front right wheel clean off!
This is what I call damaging off-roading. Unbelievable strain on suspension, steering and transmission components, plus hefty bangs to the frame members and body panels. Keep modifying to do better next time: Higher suspension/body lift, bigger tires, bigger engine. You end up with a freak not a fun 4x4 vehicle.

It's based on the range rover classic so it's more of a 40 year old engineering marvel.

MrMan They are TJ flares with a lot of massaging and cutting to guards and flares. I like the way they have turned out a lot.
i thought the bj42 had rear diff lockers..what i did with mine is i removed the pins that hold the leaf pack.
