i still think that the original medal of honor had the best d-day ...it truly felt like real chaotic hell...this beach landing was weak imho....the beach was soo empty....
Also, IDK what the IFA3 modeling says, but IRL the stielhandgranate is/was not a frag grenade. It's a concussion grenade meant for clearing buildings/bunkers/etc. Kinda like a flashbang without any magnesium. So throwing them out onto the beach was basically useless. Sorry. (Yes, there is a tiny bit of frag from the casing, but that's incidental. And yes, the Germans did have frag grenades, the lesser-known "egg grenades.")

People think Tigers were far more widespread than they really were, since so many soldiers reported such when they didn't get a good look at a Panther or even a PzIV, as actually happened to you guys. Historical inaccuracies I saw at the start: The weather was kinda shit, not a good sunny day, which you mentioned. The boat drivers of American landing boats5 were for some reason British, I just know that for some reason.

Hey first off, awesome to see a long time fan! BF3 seems like yesterday to me. Secondly, recruitment is closed atm because we're trying to get new people settled in first before opening it back up. You do need the DLC though since we heavily used Apex and Contact stuff.

You should try playing one of the Day iof Defeat DDay maps - absolutely horrendous if you start in the landing craft.
